Happy

For ones in my lifetime I cried, but,
Not because I was sad or anything close to that.
I cried because I saw you and that made me feel happy.

To believe it or not,
In my lifetime
Marches on
Or off with your head,
To toe nail,
The coffin close,
The open door,
Way to,
Believe it or not…

Premium Member In My Lifetime

In my lifetime, Russia went from 'godless communism'
to 'the defender of traditional values and patriotism'

While America turned from a proud free nation under God
into a debauched libertine, entirely unshod

Premium Member 672 Million Breaths

In my lifetime, I have taken about 672 million breaths Hoping to break the 700 barrier before my death Running increases your pant Running naked causes a glance But don't let that sway you when you're trying to impress

The Stone For You and Me

You don’t seem to mind.

That we are choosing a silly stone for you.

Do you want one that is jagged and will cut you?

Or one that will roll away as you pounce upon it?

Any stone will erode…

But at least not in my lifetime.

Notions

Sun you devilish friend
awakened once again
allowing thought to rewind
of what then
the mind blurts out apologies
when there is no time for regret
I still stand on the notions
of wanting
of needing you on my timeline
in my lifetime
your vision enlightens my darkened path

Football Feasts

Miami Dolphins jersey on
laying on the couch
Tortilla chips
salsa and guacamole dip
nachos
hot wings
bag of pretzels and marshmallows
one litre of Sprite
and buckets of popcorn
on the coffee table
ready for the game
wishing we taste the gift
of Super Bowl victory
someday again in my lifetime

Premium Member Peace

Has the world ever known peace I mean REAL peace The answer to that is a resounding NO! Not in my lifetime... not in anyone's lifetime Why do nations have to struggle To maintain an equilibrium necessary To achieve this difficult goal Is there something engrained in our sole? YES!

Morning Sun

Morning sun, shining so bright
Scorching partly my open skin
Like a torch of flaming light
Burning my soul from within

It's the first in my lifetime
To feel the touch of this burning heat
Like a hot spring everytime
Rouses the surge of my heartbeat

5'11"

that's the height of a star
my role model was a rap star
though he's now deceased
places i'd love to trade
to understand how it feels
living in people's memories
there's a life after death
so i shouldn't be afraid of death
because once in my lifetime
i'd get to spend my time
in a place that's full of quiet
admiring my star's height.

Premium Member Possibly the Best Day Ever

Sky winks at the sandy Florida beach
In cahoots with the colder waves
Sun slipping out of this hemisphere
Gleeful laughter of chasing children

It has been a glorious day,
I stare at the sky, is she a premonition?
She gives nothing away,
Allowing my imagination to surmise…

Will this be the best day ever?
In my lifetime?
Possibly.

Childhood Happiness

I remember my childhood
playing without thinking
what would happen next.
I just live life to the fullest.
I am so naïve
believe only in happiness.
No problems to think.
No harm in the mind.
Just enjoying every laughter
with the friends whom I never met again
in my lifetime after those moments.
I don't know where they are right now.
I love you past.

Premium Member Emptying the Pot

The golden pot of gold
at the end of the rainbow
hands made the pot run dry
It is time to put a plug
in the money that flows
from pockets of people
take it away from eastern flow
because the westerners know
nothing good will come of it
the pot of gold empty now
colours of the rainbow faded
how will we ever refill the pot
not in my lifetime surely not.

Practiced Passion

I have tried taking a picture of things,
without picturing it; clicking a button,
and stopping time for a moment,
in a coiled film.

I enter a faint, red-lit room,
carefully lay down the films,
and watch the paused moments
come to reality.

Deep inside the photographs,
I see myself looking for a picture
I would want to live gazing at,
in my lifetime...

World Clockwork

Let's face it as sure as tock follows tick (be it ever-so quick) then tick follows tock when hands dial in circles and wind around the clock unless the spring is broken the world will spin no matter the weather or shape it's in at least in my lifetime as for better or worse it survives ad infinitum or until eternity eventually arrives

Premium Member -The End of a Rainbow

I have seen many rainbows in my lifetime
In many different lands
Always in the distance
Natures magnificent artwork stands

I have never seen the end of a rainbow
Where the pot of gold lays
Never imagined l ever would
Yet I did today!

How incredibly special it was
This mystical glorious glow
In the field beside me
Was the end of a rainbow

A very memorable day!

Premium Member Bring Back Slavery

I am in favor of bringing back slavery,
but only slaves who wouldn't take their exploitation personally,
slaves that would cater to our every need,
without us needing to feel even remotely guilty.
Such slaves do exist today presently,
ready to serve us night and day our every need.
I only hope I see in my lifetime this new age of slavery,
when all of our most greatest of technologies,
are the slaves provided for everybody.

Premium Member Cannot Imagine What Is

Not really I replied
I could not actually imagine a pandemic
In my lifetime

Had never heard the term pandemic
Or if I had,
I did not recall it.

The world has turned itself
upside down and sideways
People have stopped socializing

For the pandemic is here
Swiveling her terrifying self
Into every aspect of our lives

When I get to heaven I will ask
about her, for she is stealing our
days with each other, making me irritable.

The Dialogues of the Dead Body

Now I am dead
I have nothing to do;
When I was alive, I was being called mad
Cause I used to help others as like as tornedo.

When I was alive, lots of people afraid of me
Now an ant is ready to bite me indeed,
My own body is not mine but the result of time
Now I am totally abandoned.

I had lots of near and dear ones,
Now I have no one beside me,
I have my jobs I did called real accompanies
I will be judged for what I did in my lifetime.

Super Blue Blood Moon

It was not huge as the universe for sure
But big enough to amaze my eyes
It was not as blue as the ocean on a sunny day
Since its color reflects the serenity of drowsy night
It was not as red as the blood running in my veins
Still it was red from afar, a sunset-like sight
I stared at it for so long quietly
Amazed in a semi-silent gloom
Just then I sigh for I realized
Maybe this could be the first and last in my lifetime
Under the Super Blue Blood Moon
