Wickless In Seattle
A Vegan in search of a treat
Impulsively swallowed some meat
The protein gush
Was such a rush
The circumcision was complete!...

PICTURE POEM limerick
Miro impulsively hurled his paint
making spots&splatters quite quaint
Action painting upon the dark blue
in metaphor&symbols so new
Enough to make the viewer faint...

Love Struck
An elixirous breath of fresh air
As suffused with love we impulsively pair
With one & all granting small boons
As for us ... we gaze at the moon
Transfixed by love...

Flame
It dances
without rhythm or form
rather
impulsively
to energy around and within
offering warmth
and company.
The fragility of its existence
startling in its strength
to illuminate dark spaces....

Words as Weapons
Vicious and mean
Immoral intent
Loudly and impulsively
Expressed through
Wicked words
Offensive and ominous
Repulsive in nature
Delivered and unjustifiably
Spoken...

Between Time
Caught in the time between eternity
and non existent.
I live in imagination's tender grasp.
An illegal immigrant.
I don't belong here in this bliss.
I don't deserve a feeling like this.
Impulsively I glance down . . .
The fire
Is real....

Doubtful Display
Match so naughty of self calamity,
Alternates modernized tactics of play
Neglecting physical aggression.
Countless clearcut chances,
Impulsively lost to anxiety.
Trying the best possible to weigh
Yoke propelled by GARCIA in depression....

Patience
(P)raying instead of pushing forward something
(A)ltering routine slightly with a slower pace
(T)aking deep breaths with time to focus
(I)nitiating new things to stimulate the mind
(E)ntertaining fun things to wind down
(N)ever acting impulsively but thoughtfully
(C)ensoring thoughts with release of worry
(E)ngaging faith with purpose for what will be

Summer of Regret
I thought I was okay.
Yet my body quivered impulsively.
Eyes red and sore, cheeks stained with yesterdays tears.
Of a silky moonlit night i'd rather forget.
My mind will ever eminate the scars.
Like a rope of thorns that pierce my flesh.
But all the world will ever see,
Is a young blonde girl of sixteen.
Not the limp shell, shy to speak, quick to regret.
All because of a cool summers night on the eve of winters' blight....

Dancing In the Rain
The heavens have opened up, it is pouring outside.
The flowers and trees will be happy tonight.
God heard nature's thirsty cry, now all is well.
It is a welcome rain after a hot, dry spell.
Watching the rain brings back happy memories as a child,
Playing in a downpour, being free and wild.
You never see adults impulsively dancing in the rain.
Pure joy is at our fingertips, if we just act like a child again.

A CLERIMERICK exphrasis
So direct was Jackson Pollock
giving the art world quite a shock
Art with no beginning & no end
he established an artistic trend
Pollock impulsively hurled his paint
making spots&splatters quite quaint
Action painting novel& new
arrested moments out of the blue
painterly picturesque it ain't
Jackson opened the 'abstract ' door
laying the canvas on the floor
The creator of 'drip' 'flick' and 'stick'
spontaneity was his artistic trick...

Unveiling skeletons in the closet of forbidden truth
Forgive me as I compose this remorseful apology
An admission of my egotistical individuality
Realization of how I've accustomed to being a Ticking time bomb impulsively leaking noxious fumes
Unintentionally forcing you to inhale and endure my venomous pollution;
But Innocence I had plead with evidence justifying unforseen indescribable affinity
Unintentionally passionately
To what i defined a Fragile creation of a human being

My Two Miracles
Two of my clocks had stubbornly stopped,
My son had worked on them for years.
They didn't respond to his tinkering
He said they had worn out gears.
Sometime after God had taken him,
I walked by the cuckoo clock.
I impulsively swung the pendulum
And was startled by a strong tick-tock.
I was so surprised, I said aloud,
"I know you have fixed it Son,
Now just to please your mother
Would you start the other one? (And he did)
Won 2nd place...
