The Lord teaches me,
To be strong in times of distress
When I’m longing for His care,
He came along and comforted me
When I’m so hapless and alone,
God imparted infinite wisdom.
For me to freely share
Even in times of tribulation
His word will be my sword and stronghold
A refreshing fountain, flowing within my soul
To reflect on when I'm gone astray
Thank you, Lord, for this wondrous gift
When I am gone
When no more I deface the whitest page
With scrawls
Will you keep my words as my total wage
Withdrawn from life's bank?
I have nothing else to leave
Indigent all my life
Invested nothing but my love
Imparted through my words.
I give you all.
Let no silence or blindness break it
Little fragile flower
Lean your tongue against it
Ladening taste with desires
Love templed in a tender tropic song.
Giving until you can no longer grasp,
The imparted gift your heart extends,
The more given of yourself the deeper you go,
The more you extend, your heart muscles grow,
They pass energy through distance and time,
Trickling through space connecting, we bind,
Its bigger than what we understand,
It means more than what we comprehend,
When your heart leaps from the electrical charge,
It resets the whole function and jumpstarts your heart.
Nature's light is turned down low,
but the moon and the stars create a glow.
Dark clouds are huddled to prepare an ambush,
but a spec of sunshine through their fierce grip will push.
Rain, rain seems to forever stay,
but the thirst of the flowers like it that way.
Farewell to life's loves left a heart marred and stained,
but the wisdom imparted could not without be attained.
Troubles and trials, a few have we known,
but hope is in Heaven, an eternal safe home.

i was young and frail and broken hearted,
lived with a soft heart completely guarded-
right then our eloquent romance started
and since that day we have never parted
together a new journey we have charted,
grieving with peace for the ones departed-
my barren skin aches; your touch imparted,
