Coastal Ghosts

Coastal ghosts

Out of the foam
when a mighty wave crashed ashore
came a pair of transparent
horses
flying mane of course
They were last seen
galloping
upland where the mist
was settling for the evening

I Need You

I am living alone
In barren universe.
My soul seeks a soulmate,
To be so terse.
I stretch my hand in rain,
But, drops don't know my pain.

My heart says there is none
Who can realize love,
I want you to know that,
Love's all above,
This is not such a clue
You know that I need you.

Loss time

There was a time worth remembering
There was a moment you wouldn't forget
But it was lost to a fatal misjudgement
And had was replaced with regret

I wait for it to peak its head out
To the wind the action was tossed
But i swelter in the heat of a missed opportunity
And reconcile with my loss

A Statement Not a Poem:

So these are it. The poems from and
about my trip. Thanks to all who have
taken the time to read these, and especially
to those who have made comments. I do
apologize for not reading or commenting on
other's poetry during this time, but will do so
now that I have "poems from a broad" off my
chest. Thanks to all.

Ashamed

Back on track with
my faith. Sometimes
I just feel ashamed,
chained down a disgusting
disgrace.

Why do I once again
slide away unsure if I'm saved?
I hold onto God's grace, a free gift
showing how much he truly loves
us.

Christ alone is my cornerstone.
I could never survive this journey on
my own faith alone.

Premium Member HYBRID SONNET the double demi

No noise,silence,
the beating of my heart,
alone,with my thoughts;
Without,I see the breeze,
soundless,active,alive,
slowly I awake,arise

to another day

My faith is part of me,
as is my poetry;
It could not be any other way,
two sides of one coin,I now say;
It's who I really was,you see
hidden,then released,in me

Premium Member Experience Cannot Be Beat

Confidence easily had
Is a matter of practice
Things that start out prickly bad
Can smooth the thorniest cactus.

Tenacious trial and error
Experience cannot be beat.
If you honestly care
To delve into a new feat.

Encourage yourself to try
And you will never be askance
Effort’s product will magnify
Tenacious person’s honest dance.

Confidence along with hard work
Is an amazing little perk.

Premium Member Piercing the veil

Following heart, we sing our song,
recontouring vastness of space,
whose refrain is the cosmic gong,
showering boons bestowed by grace.

The veil of space slowly thins out,
unable to handle bliss heat,
revealing God’s light from beyond,
that removes from our mind all doubt,
as polarities meet and greet,
forging with love, a lifelong bond.

Such secrets hidden in plain sight
are revealed on soul’s wingless flight.

Premium Member Jump the queue

A creative urge arises
It’s origin to us unknown
Grace in-pours through heart’s open door
Ushering blissful surprises
Focus peaks, rose in bloom full blown
Spoken of in awe in folklore

Divine ignition continues
It’s renewal continual
Where we’re a humble receptor
Witnessing how rapture renews
Here and now, in life’s pulse dual
Bliss piercing each body vector

As we burn in mind-body urn
Our soul thus ascends, out of turn

Premium Member Afghanistan

Afghanistan, Afghanistan
Now ruled by dreaded Taliban
Evacuation at full speed
The world watches as nation bleeds
Guns and bombs and threats all over
Innocents die as death hovers

Afghanistan, Afghanistan
Who can save thee from Taliban?
United Nations cannot help
As terrorists begin to yelp
No soldiers protect anymore
Thy troubles cause worldwide uproar

Afghanistan, Afghanistan
Chained in shackles of Taliban.

Premium Member lazy ascent

anointing soul with heart’s intent
to enjoy absolute freedom
we granted love and light consent
to take us straight to God’s kingdom

along a vibrational shift
we set sail in the vibrant void
each emote choosing to uplift
mindful that we be not decoyed

here now within mind-body urn
we became the earth and the sky
embracing love’s benign bliss burn
flames in which we saw ego die

doing nothing thus in repose
we watched our soul metamorphose

Premium Member At the crossroads

Parallel lines of attention,
one being urge of the ego,
the other loosening tension,
preferring soulful musings slow,
playoff between chaos and bliss;
in both cases, a deep abyss.

If we feed the demon of lust,
trampling over those who are meek,
soul’s light ebbs due to acts unjust
and our auric field becomes weak
but if our head and heart align,
here and now we become divine.

At the crossroads what do we choose;
ego’s ruse or soul’s blissful muse?

Premium Member breaking free

habit routines to which we’re bound
shape the emotes by mind expressed
as we tip toe on holy ground
our uniqueness therein impressed

breath by breath, all moments entwined
life is but music we’ve composed
cry to God that truth be divined
heartbeats against love juxtaposed

in the gap between two thought trains
void of emptiness energised
there being no ego that feigns
truth of our Self is realised

silence invokes bliss magnetism ~
illumining mind-body prism

Premium Member if our eye be single

Our third eye glistens, as we watch
bliss magnetism rise, notch by notch,
until each cell of feeble form
imbibes these currents, cool and warm,
dancing on our spine’s vertebrae,
the tease divine, playing hopscotch,
God applauding the way we pray.

Poised attention animated,
we become light, as is fated,
doing nothing, save being still,
wonderstruck as voids within fill,
ego cravings, decimated.

Toroidal heart emits love’s scent,
paving way for our soul’s ascent.

Premium Member The purpose of it all

Were we not in the cage of space,
mocked by incessant flow of time,
how then would we imbibe God’s grace
and weave a beauteous love rhyme?

To the throb of bliss beats we sway,
meditation sans volition,
with no agenda on our shelf
centred in heart by night and day,
wherein each time we audition,
the music plays all by itself.

When our eye’s single, we are light,
whilst on earth in drunken delight,
we surrender to the bliss storm;
touched thus, magically transform.

Premium Member Minus Identity: An Impossibility

It's an impossibility,
all things have an identity,
even poor John Doe is now known
by that simplest of nom de plume.

Meanwhile on the news over there
the suspect it's said has gray hair,
with a purple shirt and red hat;
what kind of fashion sense is that?!

Rain is the rain; sun is the sun,
the tallest tales are often spun
by one who has nothing but fear
and feels safe when spreading a smear.

And, so, for your information
I'm just a conglomeration

Premium Member A notch higher

Above the crown chakra we sense,
a moist cauldron oozing with bliss
and as we breathe in love’s incense,
we’re bestowed Divine Mother’s kiss.

Though beyond boundary of skin,
as we are therein anointed,
with each breath we anew begin,
our attention single pointed.

Boundaries blur, nodes within stir,
conjoined as a collective whole,
with joyous heart pleased to concur,
with our newly ordained life role.

We analyse not boons of grace,
as steps toward God we retrace.

Premium Member So spake simple Simon

Between action and inaction,
lies the optimal middle way,
of soul’s vibrance gaining traction,
invoking in time, divine grace.

With silence as our default mode,
feeling how polarities merge,
ineffable bliss fills our form
and as we sing to God an ode,
bliss magnetism begins to surge,
sweeping us away in love’s storm.

The simple shift from head to heart
and thereafter melding with space,
in time stretched stillness, a learnt art,
is how our soul invokes God’s grace.

Premium Member Heart-centric stillness

Opting to feel, rather than think,
sensing energy flow in form,
as a non-doer we receive
hues of bliss flavoured with love’s ink
and as we’re centred in this storm,
soul’s at peace when ego begs leave.

The simple shift from head to heart,
is really all that’s needed
for soul to transmute as God’s light,
causing bliss ignition to start,
that with will to Him conceded,
we see Him clearly in plain sight.

God calls to us, let us respond,
forging with love, a lifelong bond.

Premium Member Vibrant emptiness

Each node a bliss epicentre,
standing erect without support,
wherefrom grace bestowed does enter,
each pore of form love’s docking port.

The void holds us in warm embrace,
shimmering due to bliss rapture
as we see clearly, by God’s grace,
a knowing mind cannot capture.

We go where our attention flows
and as such we are everywhere
but it’s in stillness where thought slows,
we truly become self-aware.

The words we speak, are so offered,
as the boons upon us conferred.

Premium Member Our dilemma

We’ve donned this form to feel love warm,
caged in space and hemmed in by time,
memory of heaven wiped clean,
so we feel helpless in life’s storm,
deadened to pulse of bliss beat’s chime,
light of soul remaining unseen.

To have the cake and eat it too
requires us to remain awake,
recognising life is a dream
but how then will rapture renew,
if awareness applies the brake,
on flow of love’s dancing moonbeam?

This is the quiz we need to ace,
feasible only with God’s grace.

Premium Member Invoking grace

Logging into the vibrant void,
just like a comet’s burning tail,
our awareness is still alloyed,
with egoic fears that make us ail.

Who attains when there’s no one here?
We are awareness, self-aware,
with body but an interface,
wherein both pain and joy does spear
but once ego vacates the chair,
we instantly imbibe God’s grace.

Making void-centric our soul’s stance,
synced with strobes of bliss magnetism,
mood and mode prayer, we advance,
transcending each religious ism.

Premium Member Illumination through cessation

Let’s lay to rest all doubts that grout,
rooted in conditioned belief,
that thus giving our soul relief,
we’re at peace as we go about.

Transforming as vast space itself,
recognising we’re all of this,
all nodes within suffused with bliss,
no desires remain on our shelf.

As God’s grace pours in from above,
our feeble form is energised,
objects no longer weighed and sized
and all that then remains is love.

Judging neither fault nor merit,
all thought forms, we disinherit.

Premium Member Mind of our heart

In our silence, if thoughts intrude,
recognise that they manifest,
owing to cravings rude and crude,
offered to us as a life test,
so if we rain dance in the nude,
childlike innocence will be blest,
by pulsations of boundless bliss,
brought forth when polarities kiss.

Employing the mind of our heart,
we flow through life with zest and zeal,
treading mindfully, a learnt art,
no illusion holding appeal.

Since we’re the all, we’re also this
feeble form supercharged with bliss.
