Stupid Bird

Hoodwink is a complex word
It doesn't roll off the tongue
Could it be some sort of bird
Who winked instead of sung

Could that bird have hooded eyes
So it could hardly see
That would make it hoodwink itself
Instead of you or me

Hitting Up the Old Man

too bad
so sad
your dad

relief
my grief
you thief

away
hooray
good day

money
funny
I plea

think fool
you tool
no school

your ride
so snide
I sighed

the bar
so far
jaguar

you drink
me think
hoodwink

Hoodwink-A Pleiades

Hoodwink-a Pleiades

Hi, I'm a wooden duck
Hunters uses as decoy
Half suspecting young bucks.
High on the pond I float,
Hidden by the big pines.
His rifle cocked for prey,
Hitting a fawn all fooled.

Playful Thinking

I like to go and check out the Heaven before I die
So first I will garner needed good deeds and earn my salvation
then I would just play possum for a while and hoodwink death.

Think Man Think

Think man, think,
You’re on the brink,
Try figure now
No matter how.

Think man think,
Forget the drink,
A clever rhyme
There’s not much time.

Think man think,
You can’t hoodwink
Poetry soup
A clever group.

Think man think
Can’t catch a wink
Should get this done
You’ve not begun.

Think man think
Exposed your chink?
It’s time for bed
Tomorrow instead!

red-eyed in underland

a blood-letting sun
sets as slow as an amber tear
in a shot glass

dotty is lost in oz
ruby slippers
run on a treadmill
of long summer evenings
avocados turn brown
drowned by a late light

a vein is open
watching eyes water
over a crimson gash

a gush
bleeds out
into a hoodwink
then sinks inside
a darkening cowl

an infant
wails
in a witch's
scrawny arms

none see
the birthing knife

'sleep'

Sleep, it is a route
But a few are those that know it end.
A preservative detour to-
A remote sanctum.

Escape from contest
For a fleeting hero it is.
Whom's gate is in trance
A vain path to haven brief.

Immortal against mortality-
It is fancied.
Eases the day's turmoil-
On the Calvary it thrusts them.

But against this fancy,
a mere hoodwink of mind it is,
Which the feeble approbate to-
Bury cowardice

Hoodwink

To dwell in past of fate,
where sorrow and pain predominantly coexist as fortune of bitterness.
To leap on is to beg death for his sting
To leap back is to kill those precious
To leap right is to anguish with pain
To leap left is to cast arrows of misfortune
Where has this war led us into?
Crafting wickedness with joy
Infanticide with smile
Toxic environment for peace
Let our doomsday begin
Curse to us all.
