I would never measure up... to heaven. 
A couple of grams shy...I'd guess.
The weight of sin against good deed
I've already worked the math.
My carat is hellishly bent.
My soul weighs less than a mustard seed

In total darkness flesh rests
and at first light rises.
Sky blue eyes search 
bibles and cookbooks for direction.
Bless cheeks with pink powder blush.
Punch dough down.
Dress fingers in white flour dust.
Invoke a flame.
She commands all the elements,
motions us to stand and watch
at her tall stove-pot.
We peer over the edge
into galaxies of hot oil.
Planets pop and bob into life.
Aroma undoes us and
time floats hellishly slow....

Stars twinkle the most
When bullies are harshest
You feel like you’re toast!

When tears come quickly
Tenderness is your lot --
Some may think you sickly
Real strength they know not,

They are showing jealousy
You have what they want
So, they treat you hellishly
Bullies so love to flaunt

Their imagined abilities
Walking exaggerated jaunt
While you have superlatives
And see no reason to taunt.
