Journey Home
The journey home is harder
Than the journey to the abyss
Coming back from so hard a trail
Is something I will not miss...

In That Mystical World
To the illusive world of love...
I want to go
To roam around there
in search of you
with you in my heart.....
With nothing to fear
and nothing to care...
To be at peace....
To give my soul a flight...
To feel weightless....
To gleam like a flower....
Is it too much to ask?
Is it too hard a task?
To be
in that mystical world........

Premium Member Candy Girl
It was Candy Girl, it was not me.
She is not so sweet, stings like a bee
Except if she likes you, then it is another game.
I call her Candy Girl because I have forgotten her name.

Wouldn’t it be okay to ask?
Would that be too hard a task?
I stared at the speaker as cool as can be.
Did you not hear? She does not like me....

No Class
On a mountain pass
A passing ass
Ate some grass
Causing gas
As bold as brass
The riding lass
Told the flatulent ass
You have no class

This is intended to be monorhyme, where I live all the ending words have hard 'a' as in gas
of course if you are in the south of the UK this won't work at all because of your sissy
soft 'ah's :)...

HORSE

Hell-bent stallion muscles led the mustangs through the plain,

On their heels rode hard a hired man –his job to rope the best--

Rearing high the stallion—urging speed as autumn winds dance thru his mane.

Sheets of lighting limned silhouettes as they pounded toward the west--

Enchanted now the man reined in—this day let beauty rule his breast....

The Doorway In My Memory
A break in the pause and a look to you
There in the door arch
That was such an image
A terrible cliche noise
So good and hard a memory
Etched into my eternity
You stood thumbing your lip
There isn't much to be anxious for
The thought is gone
The days are over
The clocks have moved beyond you
And my gentle expectations of heartbreak
Yet think of you
As a break in the pause
To this memory of you...

What Else Can We Do As a Pair of Shoes
If we were the shoes of a man in a blind rage
walking along the sidewalk
and kicking hard a small piece of stone
we'd leave his feet right away
thinking his heart is like a sort of dry dock,
saying "You're unbearably cruel" in a high tone
Why?
He may have felt
a sharp stab of disappointment
and been angry at himself
or somebody else
if so,
all what he does to us
and a small piece of stone
shows his true self...
