Golden Butterfly

Life is like
a twinkling of an eye

Sure is the flight
of a butterfly

With 20 strokes
of its wings

three scores and ten days

only 8 happy moments

its life comes to an end

I want to share the rain with you,
the way my life's insane with you.
To reach out and find you there,
feeling how deeply you care.
To be able to tell you anything,

that daily life brings.

Mad and Sad

two simple words
but the feelings so complex
two words so short
because you just want to get over it
if it lasted too long
who wold be able to live with that
life is only worth the complexities
because of the happy moments
we get to enjoy

With or without wings
From the white clouds of heaven
                      They watch over us
                 In the most happy moments
And in the life saddest days

Life

life is a test
to see who is better then the rest
life has struggles and sometimes pain
life has snow and sometimes rain
you can overcome these things
life has a story that it brings
life has happy moments too
like the way i feel when I'm with you

No Contribution To Troubles

Society has been infested and inflicted
With wrong doings, crimes, immorality, horror, terror
Causing deprivation, sadness, unrest;

Let’s share our joyous, happy moments
With the sad, the deprived and the distressed ones
To make their lives easy with comforts.

What Good Reading A Book

Don't close the book
The bad things that happens
Just turn the page and begin
Read another chapter
Keep the happy moments
And learn from the bad one
Life is reading a book
The content is what matters
The writer make you influence
What you get is the experience
The wise application in real life.

Happy New Year

As you embark upon a new year
I wish you days filled with cheer

Create a bag in mind
In it keep happy moments confined

Add many to it every day
Ever overflowing it should stay

Peek in whenever sad
Your days will never be bad

If you make happiness your aim
Indeed joyous life you can claim

Music Box Love

I used to think that love happened in slow motion
With all the happy moments suspended in time
Then one day I realized the bad moments play even slower
A camera with shutter speed on its lowest setting
I wondered
Why do we watch out lives go by like this
Ballerinas dancing in a music box whose record is long broken

Happy Moments

my kids voices
 their warm joyful smiles
 a mothers blessing

 to watch them grow
 lights my life and world
 I am so happy
 the power of poetry
 I get all tingly inside

 fullfilling hearts
 happiness will survive
 dreams do come true

Gratitude

Gratitude

Your quiet smile in the sun
Is a joy so great and real,
To offer thanks to me
More than I could deserve
With those happy moments
We shared days and nights,
I owe you much more,
Than what you're thanking me for
Why struggle to encapsulate
Your overflowing gratitude
In words too narrow and small
To contain a vibrant river!

Premium Member Life's Happy Moments

Life’s happy moments are maybe few
But they are precious just the same
When you count them up
Do you really care about the fame?

Life’s happy moments are worth
All the stress and strain
Because when we look back
There’s more sun than rain

Life’s happy moments are special
When looking back over life’s journey
They show the delights of life
Make life worth the stay

Birthday Gal

You plan a day and never know
Exactly how that day will go
For glitches happen, even though
You’ve tried your very best.

Yet when all aspects seem to flow
And happy moments start to grow,
Your spirits soar and make you glow,
In every way expressed.

A view more lovely than Van Gogh
And non-stop wishes all bestow
On me, the birthday gal, a show
Of joy that’s unsuppressed.

The Other Side

As the doors open to where the angels reside
The time has come for me to make the earth my bed and bid you goodbye
I can only hope my energy is transferred
With the happy moments we shared
So that I can walk with peace and joy
on the streets made of gold
and watch rivers that flow with waters that are crystalline
and Flowers dancing gently to the tune of the wind
as I wait for you

Premium Member Bottling Up Moments

There was never enough time with you,
so I decided to go back to 1970
and bottle up moments
that brought us laughter
and tears

proud moments, happy moments,
moments of togetherness
we shared in secret, when your hands touched.

excited moments, thrilling moments,
moments that no one else could understand
moments that could not ever be explained.

the moments that belong to only us

Premium Member Happiness

Happiness is something that grabs you
When you least expect it
Sometimes it comes at you in a delightful way
From an unexpected source

It almost always comes to you as a surprise
A moment that you might not even remember later
But you will remember who was there
And how terrific you felt when you were with that person

Happy moments
Never discount them
They are everything
As they should be

Evening echoes speak
As silence now peaks

Stern stillness spreads sight
Live lavish limelight

Pot luck dinner fare
Spread simple sure shares

Faces that we meet
Lift poignant poise sweet

Happy moments fest
In buzz of meal jest

Here we share good stuff
Taste happy enough

Plain talk seeds ideas
Crispy flair spreads cheer

Smiles of Rain

Smiles that bring tear to our eye
Cause a smile can't cover the pain
Happy moments that make you cry
How much until after the rain
There is no loss without gain
So I've heard, cause so they say
Still the clouds are painted grey
Threatening to wash everything away
Here and far up ahead
The rain is clearing the way
And building a new path
For when the rain finely does cease
Smiles of rain will bring peace

Small Moments In Life

Here we are in life
 with little problems everyday.
Yet in this life
 they are just small moments.

Don't let yourselves be down
 think of the good things
To get rid of your frown
 and think of happy moments.

If you just look around
 the world about you.
You will have found
 plenty of precious moments.

We can open the door
 to a life of happiness.
If we just look for
 these small moments in life.

I'M Sorry

I made the biggest mistake of my life by letting you go
I was fooling myself when I thought I could make a living without you
I need you and only you
Look at me now sitting and regretting
Thinking of what could've been done
The happy moments we could've shared
Of how I could've dealt with the situation
You gave me your heart and all I did was show no mercy
By destroying it until blood came out
I'm sorry I truly am
