It's Still There
DO YO WANT TO SEE
an imaginary line

HOVER IN THE STRATOSPHERE
above the once divided city

OF BERLIN AND SEE FOR YOURSELF
incandescent in what was once the East

HALOGEN OR EVEN NOW
LED IN THE WEST...

Eyesore
Closing my eyes as I attend dreams,
I come across an iceberg.
I understand all-
I comprehend the unimaginable,
and just as suddenly I wake.

My eyes are accustomed-
there is darkness-
brightened by halogen lights-
an empty veil spied upon,
spoiled by the idea of....
something more.

There is a sea of I's
then there is just I.

In the Show
rain drops play music
wind's howling song of air note
                                        crows give background voice

                                                halogen sun light
all others are in the show
                                          swaying trees' nice dance...

I got a freeway view
Behind the curtains
Pianos sound like broken glass
I can see the darkness from the bed
They keep banging away at the door
But I won't let them in
What I am is what I am
They want philosophy

Out by the freeway we drink beer
Under the halogen lights
Watching the trucks roll by
Wishing we could be Bobby McGee
Bandana and all
But we're just kids
Chucked in too deep
No place to sleep.

No parents.
No life.
Just in life too deep....

Halogen hesitant glide incubates baskers
Hush worship horizontal, roasting rascals
Trust flail arms gleeful face of jack in box
Toast salt pepper toes opposed to office socks

Lopsided sway scintillates sea rolls repeat
Lumen seduce dons haughty top-hat heat
Haven from seasons, sunbathed succumb
Hourglass conserve curdles cold’s equilibrium

         Sultry Surfers Paradise
             in unfelt Solstice...
