Premium Member I Just Want One Drop
I just want one drop of ale the gnome told his brother.
I can try to turn on the spigot if you want, said the other.
But the two of them together could not get the faucet to open.
They laid around and griped about it for hours, not good at cope’n....

Shadow Soilders of the Empire
Katana sheathed

head high

adrenalin pumped

step with steps of air

creep upon the unaware

stride up behind

slide silently out the sword

fingers griped into hair

blade of steel hard and cold

one quick flex and blood is shed

now my enemy is dead...

Meenie Ate Cookies
That kind of thing really griped his soul
Meenie ate cookies smuggled from my bowl

The Heist of the Kidney Beans
The Heist of the Kidney Beans

By Elton Camp

In Pascagoula, Mississippi a burglar did grab
Several times from the drug store some Lortab
The Fred’s store manager very angrily griped
Although Lortab was the only thing he swiped

The pharmacist decided he would make a decoy
So a funny trick was what he decided to employ
Thief came but the pharmacist wanted to throttle
He found only kidney beans in the Lorbab bottle

(Note: true story)...

Rise Or Fall
Time takes its root griped to the soul,
Fighting shrugging off its hold,
Losing control unleashed to structure
a deepening hole in the pit of your soul,
Grabbing struggling to regain the control,
That once you imagined to hold,

Fading away, your heart will not stay,
Growing cold to all that they say,
Delusions of reality filled lies,
Trying to find where the lack began,
Where you truly stand,
Lost is time when there's truly nothing to find,
Rise or fall, that is all...
