We judge no one simply because
there’s no one here and hence no cause,
to assign an ethic value,
on shifting hues as they renew,
save when fellow souls are caused harm,
whereupon with love we disarm,
ignorance in those who have strayed
from truth and hence their auras greyed,
a fault, that’s easily set right,
seeing in all hearts, God’s light bright....

If All Grapes Were Seedless Would We Run Out
I am giving tomorrow up
in this day of end
wrap me in your world
Where inside
raindrops,
falling heroes
target skin
and with pin pricks
of cold
announce their arrival
Ambush beating eyelashes
and carry their assault
past cheek and chin
Shivers spine the chill
Greyed out clouds
Stretched out tendrils as if t o
Catch its falling children...

tell your tales
share them with me
I have travelled far to listen

your walls remaining
huddle forward like greyed old men
around a warming fire

let me sit quiet as the night
in your moon shaped shadow
and dream as you do

walk across my thirsty mind
flagons filled with stories
I will not fear your ghosts
they just want to be heard....

Premium Member Not Yet Ready - After Dylan Thomas's Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night
Don’t greet death gently.
Those dreary and greyed,
stay, hold, ignore
that feral, frail, reality.
Ignore gainsayers that say
those eternal days of flotage
on the edge of the great end,
dearly holding on,
are beyond their strength.
Death is the great design
for those that forgat
the indignity of being.
Linger on longer, oh ghost.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light....

Basement
I fear to be Here
You make me feel spooky
Your greyed hue laid me in cist and
Chaos of headlights gore the peace
they reminisced,
How he dumped me like a trash
I repel to feel bygones allures,
What tasted like Himalayas.
When you painted me in blood and prised,
Like a god of devour.
And that one night, it purloined my
drape, frilly and virginity
Here in this basement,
inside his car with mirth!...

A Knight But Not That One
The wind serpentines my hood against my cheek
the embers of my half smoked cig jettison
the greyed darkness in a flurry
brushing the collar and shoulder
to remove the silencing ash
shivering in the winds cold touch
the friction heat of my rubbing
hands offering little respite
and then the kiss of rainclouds
first born
Staring at a slowly fading facade
of an aquine moon
as the wind mounts its attack
on the whisping clouds...

Justice Delayed
For a quarter
of a hundred years
We waited
hidden.
Others losing heart.
We listened
blending
Others died.
We listened
motionless
We learnt all there is
and more
Till our hairs greyed and fell
We waited
invisible.
Living among spiders.

Then the forth came,
Chosen,
The boy
Gave us a fighting chance
Giving us,
The only hope we had
He saw the road
Turned us into hungry lions,
launched
An irresistible pride unto ourselves,
And wise humility....

Years
Oh, what time has passed.
Your skin has wrinkled,
and your hair has greyed.
But our love will never age.

54 years we’ve been married.
5 kids.
And I have loved every minute spent with you.
There’s been good and bad times,
but I knew that every night
you would end up in my arms.
And if I was away the thought of us together kept me sane.
You are the angel that hopefully doesn’t get her wings back soon
Because I look forward to living out the rest of my days with you....
