Power In the Ghetto
Another government,is the GHETTO GRASSROOTS !

They beg for our votes,to ascend into power !

Where the government ideas ends, that's where the GHETTO ideas starts !...

Combat Boots
I used to love my combat boots.
In O.D. green I felt grassroots.
Sporty shorts and long straight hair
Any whistle got my glare.
My favorites, now, are boots’ offshoots!

Cessationism v. Continuationism Discussion
is the talk in the upper echelon
of eclectic intellectual musings
miracles and healing
is the talk at the grassroots level
and you ask me
if we can understand God
this is like asking a piece of wood
if it understands
how it came to be
and
perhaps it does
it certainly is beyond me....

Limerick of the Day Willy the Goat
Willy was a popular goat
Lost the poll by a single vote
                                           He went to grassroots
                                          Polished his black boots
Fled with his booty of bank note

The Birth Pangs
It is now.
The call of unknown.
A doting mother-
writes a child.

I am, collecting-
the words. To speak for the
death, which was hestitant
to come,
against the will of grass.

The grassroots diplomacy,
catches the wind.
Abandons the footpath,
goes to the marbled floor.

What do I do-
at dusk ? Become wordless
like a deep sea-
waiting for the moon
to bring the tides ?

Calendar
Writing on my sleeves,
I visualize an invisible coupling
of grassroots with starless sky,
when I walk on the wailing earth.

Hails big as sparrow eggs
smash the bougainvillea blossoms.
The wrestling clouds
begin a storm.

Witchcraft of the moon begins.
The pubic curve of a rock
holds a centipede
wriggling, gnawing.

A spider climbs the weatherbeaten
cheekbone
and indulges in navel-gazing.

Raindance
windswept rain slaps the bottoms of leaves
shivering they shed it
grassroots shake and slake their thirst
then wave their stems together
tight closed buds stand on their stems
reaching upward fretly
shaken yes but through it all
they hold together wetly
branches wave in shades of green
so many hues and tints are plain
Spring is here and she is seen
dancing in the rain
wind sings and swings
green tambourines in rythym...

Lilac bush full
          spring's ties to nature's core
Buds that kidnap smell
Sweet layers of scent weaponry
Panoply burst of blooms
           modesty displaced
Flower cradles barely hinged by gravity

Purple bunches
that color the center of consciousness
            sweeping away grassroots complaining
sweeping off a time drifting to cruelty
freeing the buttoned restraints of love...

Sri Lankan Elephants
Sri Lankan Elephants are listed as, endangered
and are the largest and darkest, of the Asian elephants
Herds have nursing units, with lactating females and young
and they have juvenile units, containing females and juveniles

Sri Lankan Elephants, are been pushed into smaller areas
because of deforestation, that disturbs their migrating routes
Human-elephant conflicts, results in human and elephant deaths
because the humans need of greed, is only for human grassroots...
