Notes About The Poem

In the shadow of a grassroots granary,
dendrites sprout and axons climb the tree.
A cloudburst of neuroplasticity
feeds the ripening grain
as each one brings a fertile brain,
demonstrably insane.

Hello David, cracks me up. You take brains, grains, and that wild leap between them and somehow make it feel like a quick spark of thought that got loose. It reads like you were just having fun on the page, and that’s exactly what makes it you. Blessings, Daniel

Hi Daniel! Haha, thanks for joining me in this, the latest, voyage into nuttiness!

OK. I'm supposed to encourage you on this site, right? So: this poem is really insane, David. There. How's that?

Hahaha, you're right! This is crazy! I think I didn't make my oatmeal quite right this morning - something threw me off. I might have accidentally combined two poems, one about brains and one about grains because they rhyme.
