Brilliant nightfall views
Barbs of darkening hues
Specter of sunlight gems
Vespers obscuring into godsends
Elegant devoutness
In worshipping grandness
I'm fading into oblivion;
I am slowly disappearing
under the shadow of who
has no comparison.
I am but a speck
in the grandness
before me.
My love;
you.
Skilled songbird on a fence stump.
Diva on a dais!
Ensuring, for what's brought, more'ore
Of grandness to the fore
Whilst lit of morn, from behind
Are facing, window-bright
Bed's uprisen, roused in the heart
Swollen praise on our part.
I See Your Smile...
In Winter's Bark...
Cold Is...
My Window View...
Barren And Stark..
Your Grandness...
Is Welcomed...
With A Color...
That Warms Me...
Fire Bright...
Flashes Of Red...
Against Winters White...
God's Cardinal...
A Beautiful Sight.
(Vickie Thayer 2018)
Nonchalant, casual, easy
Meandering, desolate, roadway
Shadows in obscure, certainty
Grandness, scenes, unlay
Strolling byway in blackness
Brilliant qualities, encompass
Strolling in darken, nightness
Among squeaking timber-tops, echoing
Seeing sparkly, spotlight, flicking
Glimmering striplights, ticking
In relaxed, trudging, dusk walking
What is anxiety?
Some people say it is a feeling
that you get when you meet your future self
in the present, who overwhelms you with grandness,
while others say it is anticipating what the unknown
throws at our doorstep.
Life would simply tell us that it is a feeling we get within ourselves,
reminding us we are alive, learning, and un-learning......
Down a mountain, from the highest point it flows
Cloudy white it comes into view, blocking sight
The fog delights in its grandness, where it shows
Power of the ground cloud, coming during night
The humidity is high bringing moisture
Having droplets of water in the mixture
It flows down the mountain to valley below
Leaving its trail of water on the ground low

Until you’re lonely you won’t look for that someone.
Until you embrace the pain of loss you don’t know what you’ve got.
Until you stare at a still chest you miss the miracle of life.
Until you feel the depth of emptiness you won’t care to be filled.
Until you realize the grandness of living you won’t settle for less.
So seek and you will find.
Look
Embrace
Stare
Care
Realize
Seek and
Find
