had
then didn't. Wisped
somehow... or gossiped...
or distracted to Utopia's version
of cockroached virgins stained
glassy through
windows tight enough
for
what?...

Candles and Scandals
There was an old vandal in sandals,
Who spread about rumours and scandals,
And it seems a mistake
That I baked her a cake:
She gossiped and kicked out the candles.

Premium Member What Is Your Hypocrisy
Little old man, lived in the front pew,
Praying his beads and singing his hymns with virtue
While at home, he gossiped and construed about everyone
Brazen he’d go down to the saloon and have a few and argue about his view

Pretend Marriage

As kids we'd chalk a house plan on the street

We all grew bored and decided to never grow up.
Rain erased the chalk but we'd glimpsed our futures....

Premium Member Go In Peace and Sin No More
Called, 'Woman of Shame' Living life as she knew how Men secretly desired her, Women - gossiped; jeered No one offered true friendship Not one cared to ask her why. Stones gathered in hands The good 'Rabbi' intervened... He who has no sin, he said, Please, cast the first stone. As each one stole away, he turned, "Go in peace and sin no more". ~*~

Gadding About
The foxes came to call
On a late winter visit

The males name was Clive
The females name was Bridget

They arrived as you and I
Were sitting down to sup

You kindly called them
To the door and asked them what was up

They had the news that no one knows
A tasty bit indeed

We gossiped long into the night
All from that tiny seed

And sent them off with foxy bags
Filled with bobs and bits

The little bird that to them
Carried the word

Alas got none of it...
