Premium Member Message In a Bottle - Burp - Joe
This bottle once was full of cold beer
Now only this dumb note is here
The author’s mind not so clear
Message garbled, I fear
Hoping land is near
Trying to steer
Must now veer
Oh Dear
Burp...

That Sinking Feeling
When boats sink to deeper waters depths
Passengers go down gurgling wet
Music sounds become garbled
In fact they disappear
Cold beneath the waves
Rocks caused their fate
No more sun
They go
Glug...

You are a total leech
sucking what is good for you;
Plagued with pitiful speech
always mumbled and garbled;
Never had a far enough reach,
you embarrass yourself;
Thieves always hide what’s true,
little did you see I am made of bleach....

seagulls looked for garbled shreds, scouring up after stray throngs signs creak to swing of ocean conducting to the depressed pranksters.

We Cannot Connect Your Call
Listening to the scrabbling voices
as they beg to be listened
Nonsense spewed in multitude
Garbled conversation on the company floor
lonely saddened
grasping at dirty love
in some hope of attention
Nothing i want to hear
but still i listen
hopeful of connection
from the disconnected...

So many wept at his smoked burial to celebrate he’s escaped forever

Epitaph in garbled words is upside down and slender like our Trevor

Joke is on extra wide marble tomb he’s dead stoned as we remember

‘Laugh bring me weed and write graffiti for my gratuitous surrender’

13th April 2019...

Premium Member Staring Off Into Space
Out of his mind
  lost all control
Whither his soul

Mad as can be
  completely insane
Whereto his brain

Garbled speech
  making no sense
Illogic dispensed

Here he comes now
  staring off into space
Kindly greet him with grace…

He’s a card-carrying member
  of our crazy rat race...

A friend is a receiver fine-tuned to your heart's frequency, able to decipher the garbled broadcasts redacted by embracement and encrypted by fear. Unscrambling the ubiquitous static friends reveal the true implications and feelings behind the message sent.

To Bela Ourman
My child is grown
to the state of a voice
whose every pitch
asks questions
for which
I have no reply.

These garbled queries
like music to my ears
fill the fear
that as he grows
the questions will
no longer remain
in merely the pitch,
and I may hold
no answers
for his
innocence.

Day Dream
Lost in the grey shadows of disappointed thought
Staring past reality
listening to the garbled chat of the dead life
I am not here
spaced within the space
hiding in shadows reflection
dreams curdled by realities vomit
answered by the trace
leaving imagination
as my fingers scratch to keep hold
back to realism
as its nightmares unfold...

Premium Member Cluttered Mind
Scrambled and garbled
Thrown on a page
Chaotic and indecipherable
Maybe I'm a genius
To ever pull out something sensible
As those pages
Are a straight match of my mind
Making sense.
What a phrase!
So apt...
Considering where it's drawn from
Imagine one crisp clean thought
Presented as if on a platter
Instead of searching for it through clutter...

Premium Member What Could I Do
Watched myself turn into a red kangaroo
Spontaneous shape shifter – what could I do?
I tried to yell but my words were garbled and few.
Got chased out of the house by my first husband too.

At a dirty window spied my neighbor strange Sue.
She screamed before I had time to even say boo.
Tried to write a note but it was something I could not do.
No opposable thumbs when you’re a red kangaroo....

Wounded Scar
Sunlight strews diamond dust, sparkling, dancing
across the windswept surface of that shimmering sea;

the deafening din of the onrushing waves, crashing,
makes the love song that you summon in your mind

sound distant and desolate, garbled and fragmented,
reminding of pain like that of an old scar newly wounded!...

The Madman Sings
Falling fast blind rush of speed
dry earth nurtures not the seed
unclaimed discarded unbequeathed
the bounding heart belies the deed

Too late we hear the mouse trap's spring
garbled song the madman sings
as endless as his golden ring
frantic flutter broken wing

The smell the stench of rotting flesh
the milky sweet of baby's breath
juxtaposed and viewed against
unblinking eye of vacant death...

Old Scar, New Pain
.

Across the windswept sea swaying,
                      tossing,

sunlight strews diamond dust, sparkling,
                     dancing.

The din of the onrushing waves
                      behind

makes the love song that you summon
                   in your mind

        sound desolate, garbled and
                    fragmented

with the pain of an old scar newly
                      wounded.

Magic
There’s magic on the tungsten sea
That brings forth spittle in waves
Like giant sheets of paper uncurling
On a table.
There’s magic in the carrot sunlight
That makes pale skin warm and silky
Like a peach that softly meet’s the
Lips of a beauty.

Impossible is commonplace when mind
And world collide and magic conjures
Idle musings .

There’s magic in the breeze that carries
Distant garbled voices muffled by the
Whooshing waves I hear in the giant
Sea shell....
