Staring Off Into Space

Out of his mind
  lost all control
Whither his soul

Mad as can be
  completely insane
Whereto his brain

Garbled speech
  making no sense
Illogic dispensed

Here he comes now
  staring off into space
Kindly greet him with grace…

He’s a card-carrying member
  of our crazy rat race

My cousin had an epiphany after having a brain tumor. She was glad to step out of the rat race and to serve mankind instead.

Your sister's brain tumor saved her life, I'd say! Here's to service! :) gw

Garrrhhh…. Rats, rats, rats… I’ve got four super genius rats nicking by bird seed all day long. I’ve got six… yes that’s like all the fingers on one hand and both of your thumbs… SIX traps out and they just run around them. So when I’m staring into space… I’m scheming rat Armageddon. Like the write, Gershon, even if it has given me a nervous tick…

Six traps. Hmm. Remember: 'Rats' backward spells 'Star.' Whatever that proves... lol.

Just remember, John, that 'rats' backward spells 'star!' ~ Twinkle, Twinkle
