Black Forestry
the woods in despair
evergreens and cuckoo clocks
i’m lost in Grimm fairy tales
in black forestry

dessert to die for

Cinnamon
Flavours surprise:
Cinnamon spice
Plus all things nice
Taste fond delight:
This lovely flight
In poignant sight
Sweet morsel bits:
Mild bitter wit
In cake that fits
Feisty feast flies:
Chocolate highs
With ganache sighs
Macadamia:
Walnut sepia
Taste regalia!
Here in quick haste:
No time to waste
Embrace good taste

Our Own Cake
Today is a rare treat:
We baked our own cake,
Our own birthday treat.
Today is our birthday:
Yes Ann and Leon stake,
Born same year, month and day!
Today we turn sixty:
And for goodness sake,
Hug, laugh, and feel jolly.
Today tells our story:
Chocolate ganache bake,
Flavours nice and naughty.
Today tells history:
Mellow wine we partake,
Live love's sure mystery!

nicely served aside a delicate truffle ganache
A tete a tete with my favorite bestie at the local Cafe
just before we drink it, we bow our heads and pray
A coffee perks me up, right before my shift begins
it is the choice of Queens, and the beverage of kings.
Coffee !!!
