Futuristic

the first
day we
laughed
until we
cried

portends
of the last
day when
we would
cry

but
look
back
and
now

laugh

Futuristic Melodies

Futuristic melodies
And the beat of a broken drum
Compress my mind
While a single tear
Slides up my face
In reverse
As I take back the words
I never said

City On Venus

My dream futuristic city
My city in the heavenly tropics
My walled Indian city on Venus
My city with tropical flowers
Luxury condo buildings with white balconies.

Premium Member Coming Soon To Cinema Screens

They were 'futuristic scenes'
  'Coming soon' to cinema screens

Forlorn, abandoned downtowns
  deserted streets, rot and decay

Forget the cinemas ~ future's here today

Futuristic Shirt

One sewed by ambitious hands
Of a once ten year old
During a homescience class
For her daughter one day
One sewed by ambitious hands

Premium Member The Brite Future

You have to admit, the future's looking bright
- with corona seeming to fizzle out a bit, with
cryptocurrency, the metaverse and the futuristic,
kiss-your-sister quality of lab-grown meat to
save the planet - yep, things are looking up.

Premium Member Harboring a New Idea

breaking a new idea wide open
dazzling myself with anticipation of possibilities
futuristic particles of hope pour into my soul
I anticipate a metamorphic change
I am transmogrified into a new me
as I let her take up residence in my brain

The Sufficient

God you are the Most Majestic
Please make my thoughts futuristic.

God you are the Almighty
Solve my problems please help me.

God you are the Omniscient
God you are the Sufficient.

God you are the All-knower
Help me please make me wiser.

(Amen)

Zodiac Tableau

Underneath a silhouette of stars
We confer futuristic forecasts
your skin blends with the ivory outline
of the constellation that envelopes our bodies.
Heard was the echo of
such an ever so pleasant sound
‘twas the rustling of sheets
to the rhythm of the rain
Form: Verse

Future Sight

Dreamt,
a sequence,
it was at that,
pretty frequent,
it had never occurred,
in real plane,
but it had become my bane,
It was a small loss,
that was played,
but it had me worried,
with anticipation laid,
I feared what ran in my mind,
was a futuristic hind.

o amor e a singularidade love is the singularity

o diabo é o ódio
e deus é o amor
nós temos os dois
e diria que teriam muitos outros ainda
no equilíbrio existe a utopia
criada por deus

the devil is hate
and god is love
we have both
and i would say there are others
in balance utopia exists
created by god

A Good Book

A good book takes you
far away to unknown lands.
Tears are shed. Death felt.

The fights are fearsome.
Futuristic tragedy
and past lives burst through.

Love stories flourish.
Characters become your friends.
History unfolds

Puzzle pieces shift
Clues hidden within the page
Space is tangible.

Not Sure

Building fantastic feats of engineering
Constructing classic beats
For the inner hearing
I'm a pioneer of futuristic steering
Always greeted by superhero cheering

Or at least that's what
I like to think up in my head
Am I writing in my dreams again
Or sending messages from the dead?
Form: Rhyme

Futuristic Failure

Poor die Wealthy thrive
Advanced technology shines
Voices not heard

Wars fought for water
Depression waste pollution
Evil money reins

Lovers and friendship
Together the poor survive
Robots in their way

Futuristic Failure
We should learn from our past loss
We proceed eyes closed?

Written and posted by
a real poet, no ai clone --
wary of erroneous people,
fake voices on my digital
phone – fear I may be one of
the few yet writing poetry alone
without the help of
some ai, futuristic drone
letting fall synthetic hits
and misses – parrot
droppings all the same,
really, ai poetry quite morally
lame.

Faithful Illusion

Upon hours spent, little hope is lent
To a far more pleasing incandescent light
A hue of clockless space seen upon its face
Aggravating the light into a speckled fright

Futuristic visions, are merely illusions
Yet ne’er doth the lie cease to glisten
And many wait with a faith hard to trace
Lost in a teleported reverie of lasting confusion

Sometimes the Poet Scares

Don't be alarmed by
my figure if it causes you
  amazement ... just and only
  grant me a discount ... I don't bite ...
Don't be surprised if I look
  crude, strange ... just
  stop watching futuristic movies
, without future...
  But my figure, occasionally
  scares ... I agree ...
  even I feel terrified ,
  but not usually !
