living without love is a full-time job
a difficult task to accomplish
yet as workaholics we manage
through daily practice
we achieve mastery
fools we are
I can never mean an eye
You can never see me in my eyes
For they have a full time job
On the faces of others rather than mine
They can see outside better than home

I can't self-repair

Instructions.
So bold, so feverish,
I retreat into a coma
Protecting myself
from this poison.
Not easy and
A full time job, girl.
So you sat the sunrise
Out this round, but
I can't agree anymore.

I’m daughtering in place and it’s a full time job.
I'm a posable figurine, like a barbie for my mom.
