Pause briefly in the panorama
Before potential’s hand lifts the weary
To the mountain peak
Where destiny waits....

on faceless cliffs.

The wind is lost,
it turns this way and that
only to crush its own voice.

Turmoil is lovely,
the howl of chaos
clears the mind,
sharpens both elation
and fear.

Standing on the edge
of a crumbling land,
footholds flying away
like storm-wrecked gulls

we are ALIVE
in the grave of this world....

I feel guardianship near

On the edge of a horror
I also feel light
A spark in the ebony
Some truth in the night

I trust who I trust
I cannot say more
I feel something greater
How to open the door?

Begging to be found
My footholds unsteady
I can't walk on this ground....

I am drizzled from thoughts that the heart footholds
With words of wisdom which are pure as gold

And as I form into an underlying phrase
Every sentence takes it’s own place

With rhymes of words dancing on the page
Every formation is imbedded to the base

With librettos of connotation revolutionising the trace
The vivacity of the ode slowly gets into shape
 
And once the ode is born with complete faith
The poem is made and that’s the face
