Spark In the Ebony

My place in this waning The purpose unclear These sights see me backwards I feel guardianship near On the edge of a horror I also feel light A spark in the ebony Some truth in the night I trust who I trust I cannot say more I feel something greater How to open the door? Beneath the surface it lingers Begging to be found My footholds unsteady I can't walk on this ground.
