I am a little archangel,
please let me in your garden dwell,
when there,I will spread out so well;
Later,you won't let me settle
but I'll keep you in fine fettle,
I'm the dreaded yellow-nettle.

Premium Member The Mule
Thick bubbles of tea leaves, whistling in the kettle. Most times, the mule was a symbol of obstinacy. I don't mean bored but yet didn't grasp the fettle. We're stuck here, so we'll continue for eternity.

So he gets scrap metal
And this he does fettle.
Then calls it a Honda Accord.

He took it out for a test-run.
At first this seemed to be great fun.
But in metal he fettle
The welding was brittle.
Suddenly it all came undone.

Let the Dust Settle
L-et the dust settle,
I-nstead of making it gray;
E-vade the rugged wind,
Z-ealously take trouble
A-way.

G-ive time till things get calmer,
O-bliterate the devil's way;
D-istress will return to normality,
A-ugust twenty-ninth Tuesday.
L-et the conflict disappear,
L-et you be in fine fettle;
E-agerly let the haze fade, let the dust settle....

A Rhyme of Health, and Blessing
Upon the spirits of love, and bliss
The powers of peace, and harmony
The soil I plant my feet within,
And the Goddess; I do humbly serve thee…
Grant me now this fine fettle wish,
To cleanse me of all impurities
To fill my heart, my body, my spirit
With the grain of fruitful beginnings.
By Light, by life, by love, by laughter,
And by the law of which I follow;
Upon the rising incense smoke
May all I seek be hallowed.
So mote it be!...

Premium Member Fettle Fetal Death Killed Road Kill Sread Out All Around Here-
a 4 lane bi-way east and west;
first come upon passing of a dead skunk;
Next comes a squirrel
and then another skunk on the north side of the lane;
just there laying on their sides dead as nails;
Now the odor so pungent;
smells of death
almost liken human, dog, or other animal remains, yet worse;
Fetal fettle dead carcasses
up the road
Lord, God almighty animalistic death's hold
Don't know if them critters were sick or poison
Something but life got a hold of em'...

The Fuelling Arms
Nothing except wonder you behold,
Sitting among the modifiers of fate,
Radiating warmth, light of faith,
Transmitting through thin thread,
Heart to heart with ethereal link.

They throw you high into the sky,
Like a fettle falcon ready to fly.
Flight takes you to the world strange,
On the landing spots, you often find,
The same sacred hands anxious to receive,
The fuelling arms open wide,
Ready to embrace, infuse the power,
For further journey to the higher skies....
