Tears
Track marks of
Eyeliner run
Away from
Retinas and
Stained cheeks....

Daughter of darkness;
I don’t fit the description;
No black eyeliner
with a matching dress or boots;
But my thoughts? Creepy as hell....

I'm deleting a lot of words
Squashing down a lot of emotions
I've put eyeliner on
And my glare is ice cold
I'm not even looking out
I'm just contained....

Holding Me
Between
the corners
of the circle,
at the edge
eyeliner makeup,
from under the covers
of the embrace,
sunny Bunny
heart-shaped
peeks
between me and you.

Make-Up
I'll put on my foundation,
so my skin looks fair.
I will put on eyeliner,
And braid my hair.
put on the eye shadow,
and powder my nose.
brush on the pink blush,
that's how it goes.
Nexts goes the lipstick,
then I look in the mirror to see.
The person that i'm looking at,
Just isn't me....

Intoxicated Availability.
sex and hairspray,
its what her image screams.
her lips smeared with 99 cent gloss.
vodka and whisky lingering on hot breath.
fishnet stockings,
a hole in one knee.
eyeliner smudged by the humid air.
trojans packed away in her leather purse.
"well," she purs in a drunken slur.
"what do you think?"...

More Than Your Face
Dress yourself right,
To make it look bright.

A little curl here,
Or straighten it there.

Splendid is how you must look,
To get into other's good book.

Paint your nails a little,
To make it look glitter.

Thick eyeliner to make your day,
Pretty!to let others say.

But in the end,the race,
Is more than your face....

I've got eyeliner on, but I'm cancelling it out with a quilted coat
I've got fun stuff to say, but I'm cancelling it out with apologising for existing
I've got a life to live but I'm cancelling it out by being afraid of condemnation

there's a single leaf right on the end of the branch it waits in beauty

Precipitation
a placid scene
under eyeliner horizon
dew drops tearing across canopied skies

roiling thunder
shaking the earth and heavens
a flood falls, staining porcelain facade

the stream snaking its way
through flat-topped mountains
and forests untouched by man

the river returning to its origin
a sordid spring once wet with creation
now run dry by rage...

Dream
Red blush tempting me
Eyeliner awaking thought’s
Rouge creamy and soft
Configuration formation
Mind with, determination
Body self forming
Legs with exciting warnings
Eyes deeply entrancing
Words luring with expectations
Ears listening and recording
Thought’s wandering aloof
Clasping together two hearts
Souls drifting into heaven
Alarms going off

Dream over lol...

Will You Still Love Me
Will you still love me when it's three in the morning and I'm crying so hard I can't breathe? Will you still love me When I coat pillows in mascara and eyeliner? Will you still love me When I shut you out And won't explain to you why Because I don't want to bring you down? Will you still love me When I can't handle being strong And I find relief in razors Instead of your arms?

what has capital given us? rubber Cahokians
stood up behind glass like scarecrows when
you walk through the museum it looks back
at you two people traumatized into being
neocorporate wunderkinds shell shocked into
playing the game smoothed down the 90s rage
and wiped off the ran eyeliner to figure out
their valuations and get revenge the long way
- the water spirits burst the pipes and
you have to evacuate the museum....

Eyeliner
Eyeliner smudged
Across her face
Those memories
She can’t erase
And she can’t find
That place
Where she used
To feel safe
Eyeliner smudged
Across her face
Sick of crying
Always lying
She trying
And she’s dying

Eyeliner smudged
Underneath her eyes
Getting sick
Of all the lies
And yet, as
Everything dies
She goes on
And she tries
Eyeliner smudged
Underneath her eyes
She’ll pretend
It’s the end
Tries to bend
But she’s breaking...

Spare Me Three Last Words
She wanders through the rubble,
Tears streaming down her twisted face.
Red eyes mixed with black eyeliner.
Her pupils shine green among the dancing flames.

Branches snag her tattered clothes,
Causing her to fall.
On hands and knees,
She has no will to stand.

Chains and locks on her wrists and ankles,
Not letting her move.
Too weak…
She’s losing the fight.

Days of crying and sobbing,
Such pain.
Screaming on the inside,
But her voice won’t work…...

Uoy
i took one last look
At all the things
That you used
To make you, you
The you only i knew
The you i loved
And i smiled a momentary smile
Picturing you days from now
Glancing at the things that you might carry from here with you
A brush, an eyeliner, lipstick
And i saw my smile
In the mirror that you used
The mirror that i used to use
To look at you
But the glass never did catch the glance
i saw in me
When i looked back
And you were no longer there...

Repeat
Awake,
yawn heavily.. chest rises and sighs
rub sleep from my eyes

Walk lazily
approach the sink
cup my hand to take a drink

Comb my hair
look in the mirror;
Eyeliner smudged and smeared

Wipe it away
Re-apply
stretch then sigh

Dress
Button my shirt
zip my skirt

Look outside
looks like rain
To straighten my hair would be insane.

Throw it up
Pin it tight
What a sight..

Embark for the drive way;
Gotta catch the bus today

Slip into a seat
Such a repeat!...
