Uoy

i took one last look
At all the things
That you used
To make you, you
The you only i knew
The you i loved
And i smiled a momentary smile
Picturing you days from now
Glancing at the things that you might carry from here with you
A brush, an eyeliner, lipstick
And i saw my smile
In the mirror that you used
The mirror that i used to use
To look at you
But the glass never did catch the glance
i saw in me
When i looked back
And you were no longer there

Oh Gerry this is so beautiful, sad, but beautiful. Your comment made me smile, and yes I am. Laurie
