Repeat

Awake,
yawn heavily.. chest rises and sighs
rub sleep from my eyes

Walk lazily
approach the sink
cup my hand to take a drink

Comb my hair
look in the mirror;
Eyeliner smudged and smeared

Wipe it away
Re-apply
stretch then sigh

Dress
Button my shirt
zip my skirt

Look outside
looks like rain
To straighten my hair would be insane.

Throw it up
Pin it tight
What a sight..

Embark for the drive way;
Gotta catch the bus today

Slip into a seat
Such a repeat!

yes i always write my own work. And the poem isn't about what I seen. Its about waking up and experiencing the same routine daily.
