Premium Member The Duration Of

During the duration of a [expletive]
It's what I read while here I sit
And as I ponder, each page I swipe
The time elapsed until I wipe
All the noises and a sneeze
And the red marks on my knees
It's a throne from which I plod
A.K.A. the porcelain god

Oh My God

I pulled back the screen,
“Oh my God!” said
the patient who'd seen
me from the next bed;
from whom I had heard
a ripe expletive.
“I'm just his collared
representative.”

As Hospital Chaplain this occurred more than once when I appeared from behind the screens. Laughter followed.

Expletive Deleted

Expletive deleted from the text
The word is taboo not allowed in the mix
For these Celtic words was once forbidden
From the Norman Conquest or so it’s written

But now the words can be said
Expletives are heard and read
For the n word is worse or so I’ve heard
So now if you use it, you sound absurd.

Premium Member Pop Lip

Pop lip and a dynamic gothic eye,
delicately read the braille on my skin.
Melt me into a thousand small pieces,
scrub off the artistry and make me cry.
Create a dastardly brand new vision,
with every line drawn my pulse increases
Devotion has a unique perspective,
I’m on a high that feels like heroin.
Driving me wild like a child with Reese’s
you take me until every expletive
                       ceases.

Premium Member Poetic Cries Cured

Lain in bed dreaming of hallowed whispers spoken in baritone harmony Mind manifesting cries in instrumental song that sing soothing melodies to my wailing heart I'm held by a symphony of falling teardrops that dance to a love like ballad of drunken romance, while hymns I pen, and my crushed comforts are captured by cracked stanzas... My poetic cure will forever be tuned in chords of expletive love Lay

The Worst of the Expletive

Stay awake stay awake he repeated
And then the worst of the expletive
For it was just a struggle to maintain
A semblance of order in his refrain

Say it over and over again
Until it became like a long lost friend
But you have to practice the call
If only to make it to the final footfall

And then there were the stares
Without one ounce of heartfelt cares
So wander along within your world
When it comes to the final geld.
