Poetry Is Made With Good Madness Dosage

No poetry is written
            in absolute sanity...
            is madness who vivifies and
            exhorts the inspiration...
It is the thorn that softens
the soul when is extracted... !

Poem Exhorts Me

Why
poetry exhort me

With care
know and learn
from neighbors

Write a poem
while listening and following
to their breathing

Walk together in the poem
like train travel:
same direction
same way
in different places

Watch your life
And show you.

Mom spilled hot stew, wets a pal, lap short-shorts, Dad yelled its hot, loop pool pop dive exhorts, Mom says not that sort of hot, Pip, spiced hot that's all it got? Snot tons, "Jokes--Pip, we're exports, not Hogwarts?"

Premium Member Lady In Black

'Round & round the block she goes
Whose house she stops nobody knows

Curtains are drawn lest darkness appear
Clip-clop the lady in dark we all fear

Neighbors are heard, sobs distant muffle
Drones in the sky cause quite a kerfuffle

What evil minds invent such horror?
I pray Mother Mary help us! I implore

"Cease-fire for one-day" he exhorts with mirth
"Bombings will resume" just after His Birth

Premium Member Tangerine

The damp foggy mist is heavy
coating the pines and creek.
The rising sun shades it deep pink.
Black sheep float over seek

a peek of the country's peaceful scene.
Quiet siloam time short.
Soon the owl will be asleep.
The rooster stops his exhorts..

As I peel the tangerine
and the scent permeates
the cold damp morning air; life gives
So many golden states

to be enjoyed, deep the delight
exciting time in life.
Thank you God for another day
And for hearing the wildlife..
