When health has waned despite my age
I struggle to experience
The newness that inflicts my soul
And body with an aching pain
I’m in denial of my time
To ask my God what can I do 
to overcome adversity
But now my strength is ebbing low
Evolvement ceased and here I am
Just an old and handsome man

Too many days
In too many years
Meaning to count but too oddly
Even in minutes slowly they phase
Making my world spin so madly
Are they eventually going to end
Racing as blindly as sperm
Catching each sunset and seasonal change
Hurling along as they squirm
Eventual evolvement embedded to ride
Successfully meeting a quota
Or is it a question of riding in style
Not caring to know an iota...
