Dawn awakens, senses heighten
Orange sherbet streaks brilliant
Underpin clouds your eyes taste
Alight on your tongue ere they fade
“Whither, whither go thou?”
“Through rumbling seas I shalt plow…”
“Ere sunrise I shalt return, and ere
The sable darkness avows…”
On
the verge
of heaven-
'ere the petals
bloom

It is the heartfelt wish
of every man
to shine his light
upon this planet blue;
‘ere the wind blows
and his flame
is blown out.
A re rose doth comfort a faint heart,
When love lingers 'ere life departs.

GOOD OLD DAYES
It
is the
heartfelt wish
of every man
to shine his light upon this planet blue;
‘ere the wind blows
and his flame
is blown
out.
Some pass me by;
They do not see
That they do die
For want of poetry.
Yet some return,
And ere last breath
Lips sing, and spit
Away dry death.
A
silence
will be found
'ere the trumpets
sound-
all
the world
then proclaims;
Jesus Christ will
reign

Ere the bite of Summer's first chill
tis the prelude to Autumn's breath
come next, depressed, is the Winter wind shrill
on to Spring's resurrection from death
Vicious when advance
Soft winds, benign that ere danced,
And take angry stance.

Death
is not
just the end,
nor should it be.
It is the passage
through which all must walk,
'ere we meet the one
who holds the key
to the door
of our
soul.
Private and peaceful
His life, his world.
And of that, perfected
The thinking man .
Ere its garden's air
Garden's allure
For a woman, sounded.
Smiled for woman.

King Midas' name still lives on
Give me riches ,his heatfelt song,
A request soon granted,'ere long-
As all he touched turned to gold
Starving to death,he grew not old !
