Fragmented Poetics
I think sometimes,
in an effort to sell reflections
of life,
egotistic mirrors
break themselves
into a million pieces.

Fractured verses,
bent and poisoned,
deformed from the ill-treatment
of delicate lines;
echoes of poetry.

Mirror Mirror
Lights out
minid a blur,
you're chopped to a million pieces-
from that mirror,
that ground,
that stability you always longed for.
Hoped,
wished,
dreamed.
You're egotistic life
that look through the glass
it drove me mad,
I saw you for who are
I saw what you always were
shame on me
to fall again
and feel that ice cold chill....

Mirror and Us
Who looks in the mirror
is no longer abandoned
find a companion in him...
If in it our wrinkles appear
and if he shows us elder,
That's because it happens to him too...
If he (mirror) that is so egotistic
tell us!
- Look how wrinkled you are!
Tell him too!
that you are not alone...
- Look in another mirror and you will realize!
- It's true that we are similar!...

Arrogance of a Sporting God
Arrogance of a Sporting God

Is it arrogance, that makes him so good,
Or being so good, that makes him arrogant.
Shirt off, chest out, displays egotistic swagger,
Pompous superiority, somewhat self-evident.

Can you idolise a man without humility?
Even if he’s pure genius, a sporting God.
With wealth and power verging on obscene,
Boots of Gold upon his feet are shod....

Politicians will be the end of me.
To cynical now to trust their lie!
To angry now to listen to:
  Continuous disharmony,
  Pointed conversations,
  Loose denominations.
  Finding flourishes,
  As the mouth,
  Drivels,
  Contagonistic,
  Voyeuristic,
  Egotistic,
  Unrealistic!
Politicians will be the end of me!
  Polecats in harmony,
  Conversations without relations!
  Christian living,
  Without forgiving!

Premium Member You Have To Shut Up
they lurk in corners, safe and dark
until they decide to growl and bark
then point an ugly old crooked finger
spittle drooling on the chin, they linger

arguing any point for arguments sake
no sense do they ever seem to make
they pretend to be a master know-it-all
a braying donkey left too long in its stall

always insisting to have the last word
looking like fools, they are quite absurd
these egotistic imbeciles act quite spastic
the pretenders who are all made of plastic...

Green
the moon
the skies
these distant things
that have our eyes

we should adjust
our gaze
end our unjust
ways
limited
are our final days

look around
focus down
or in the earth's rath
we will drown

technology proud
egotistic and loud
our nature
to over-croud

toxic pollution
no action towards solution
the food chain needs
a new revolution

for all these years
earth met life's every need
but it can't keep up
with human greed
we'll graze it down
to the very last seed...
