Silence
Seething pain it causes
Indelible marks of questions
unanswered
Lacerations of separation and
loneliness
Emanating from endless questions of
‘why’ and ‘how’
Nights and days are rendered
disconsolate
Coupled with despondence, depression
and melancholy
Endurance is but, all that the
affected has……....

The weeping strains
of forlorn love
s c a t t e r e d
along the highway
of my disconsolate life
drowned by
   incessant
        overpowering
             noise...

Will she hear
a single note?

Days Deprived
Displays deepest mind

And a resolute that endeavor

Yet memories were treacherous and sere

Sound of silence startled ear

Disconsolate linger chasten'd more fair

Eclipsing taunting the innocent air

Pale rigid faces leave hollow empty traces

Retrace chains endure

Inspite of time revealed

Vague imprinted dreams

Eternal fame of rushing wings

Dispossess on the waters, cease...

Premium Member The Blue River
The blue river
sits in
time
and recollects
the founding
of existence.
In palatial
stars
the majesty
of knowing
rips through the
sundry,
pale dawn.

You come to
me
at once,
laconic
and disconsolate.
The fever purrs
like
a wry machine
in
the
cavern of your
birthing.

I am never
surprised
at what I
see,
your naked form
working in
the wonder
of waters
fair and divine....

On Swamp
When there is no hope in soul,
When someone’s not really close,
When your heart is disconsolate, -
Life is looking like a morass.

Only golden water lilies -
There you will find - illusions.
Silly dreams unable to save you, -
Stem is fragile, weak as usual..

When the all strengths are exhausted,
Kind foe, - that is well known, -
shows up to pull you out ...
Wouldn't be better if he'd got late.....

Cherokee Travelers' Blessing
Cherokee Travelers' Blessing
loose translation by Michael R. Burch

I will extract the thorns from your feet.
For yet a little while, we will walk life's sunlit paths together.
I will love you like my own brother, my own blood.
When you are disconsolate, I will wipe the tears from your eyes.
And when you are too sad to live, I will put your aching heart to rest.

Weep not disconsolate souls,
this grief is His design,
to save the innocent seed which He gave,
rest from your anguish and pain,
The Loss is no Loss,
their souls is safe in heaven,
in the arm of Him who gave,
the maker of their soul,
be content with this truth,
they are counted among angels,
and your seed is chosen too,
to escape the troubles of life,
and rest before the King.
weep not disconsolate souls ,
Your loss is God's new Angel....

Breaking Point
In the middle of a crossroad,
With weary eyes, she stood
Puzzled, unable to choose
Faults, she doesn't know whose
Vivid memories burning her eyes
Glimmer’s gone, replaced by lies
She began to question herself
"Which way should I go?"
Devoid of sanity, disconsolate,
Dejected from numerous regrets
Should she turn left, where nothing's right
Or choose the right path, with no more left?
A moment of silence passed, still immobile
Perplexed, she just stood still....

Leave Me Be
Flowers greet the morning sun
Adorning where you sleep,
Yet I cannot bear their beauty
For the hurt, it lies too deep.

Winter days 'midst bitter cold
More reflect my mood,
I seek no warmth or comfort
Oh grant me solitude.

I do not wish to see the world
Begone with trifling things,
Just leave me be, disconsolate
To bear what sorrow brings.

Color Stricken
Color is what I use to define you and me
Restless desire for contentment is impossible
Discord. Dejection show through us. Discrimination is unjust.
Choir of people everywhere, tired of the run.
Getting knocked down but having the audacity to get back up and stand for what's right.
Voices unheard.
Traggic losses.
Violence continous.
Disconsolate is present.
Color stricken is what so many have learned.
The time is now to change this repetition.
Discriminarion still exists....
