Caress the aching tears of 'morrows
it rains in regret's remembrances,
sustained of sand-like grit 'tween frothy
mimsy and mayhem endeavoring to
rise above the fray within prayer's favor mid
escaped disconcertion of seeping hourglass sand,
weeping 'neath copious cloudbursts
concepts suggest preferences
but the truth is unapologetic
manifesting within form
magnetic electricity
which we receive
with gratitude
and yet
our identity
is disconcerted
at the transmutation
and so ego creates a ripple
recognised, cajoled, sublimated
to align its stirrings with divine will
The heat is so oppressive, I’m tempted to agree
Hell couldn’t be any hotter indeed, so I shall flee
To the arctic regions of my air-conditioned home
Becoming a sad recluse like a disconcerted gnome,
Thank goodness, I am a southerner of true gentility
Knowing the intrinsic value of homemade iced tea!

participating free from guile
doing what we love, as bliss bursts

do we act at egos behest
disconcerted at poor result
or do we always bliss exult
breath of God heaves our joyous chest

Enableability taken away
in an instant, the way it was granted.
If we be a conduit, we should not sway,
there being no ego to be flaunted,
with no narrow thoughts, feeble and slanted.
We being oriented for expansion
are thus disconcerted by contraction.
However, it is the ego upset
having lost reason for celebration,
since pristine presence always stands erect.

O’er marine moistening proclamations
Tides flowing distanced admirations
Warm simple potency unprotected
Leads ancient seafarers disconcerted
To destine improvements phenomenon

In a world where you are normal
only if you behave like the ‘others’
where normal is defined
by the powerful and disconcerted
I scream existentialism
I scream individuality
I scream for the voiceless,
the painful, and distressed beings
that walk this earth
I pray for a quiescent state
of mind
Yet, I find that it is an impossible
dream just because of the circumstances
Only in a world where animals
dictate what is normal
will normal ever exist
