Looking At the Stars
Midgets always do
Looking strangely at the stars
Counting bigger ones

Small and big dippers
Emit freedom a distance
Expressing oneness

At times in old days
Longing to look at more stars
Achieve apogee....

Cosmology
A star struck world desiring itself.
A cosmology endowed in wealth.
A swirling of magic and mist.
A cosmology of integrated fist.
A world of big dippers and little dippers.
A sky with monopoly.
A world of cosmology.
Shining glitter.
A world fashioned splitter.
My cosmology.
Your cosmology....

Constant Keep
The swells are deep
and constant keep,
these walls of sea around me.
But now and then,
they'll lift me up
enough to see my boundary.

I never learned
to read the stars
the way that sailors do.
I see the moon,
the bright North Star,
and both the Dippers, too.

So never quit, constant sound,
the wind and waves are true.
And when I find a solid ground,
I'll know just what to do....

Premium Member Geronimo - a Cunning Escape
Those cowboys chased him ’cross the land
What a shame they hadn't planned
The man accused of rape and pillage
Made it to a distant village
Leather boots effecting entry
Every shack discovered empty
Save for one where ‘mum’ was cooking
Cowboys moved on, elsewhere looking
Who could know Geronimo
Would ever wear a kimono
And stand there cooking chicken dippers
Wearing bright pink fluffy slippers...

Sister Moonlight in your glass slippers

Come dance with me amongst the stars

We'll Pirouette by both the Dippers

And do the Waltz in front of Mars

Let's Swing around each constellation

Then Two-Step watching new stars born

We'll Hip Hop with no hesitation

And do the Tango till the morn

Oh Sister Moonlight hear my song

Reflecting all my words of love

We can sleep in peace all day long

Then dance amongst the stars above...

Viking Genes
First we saw some skinny dippers
Jump in the canal.
Guess that's not unusual
Today for this locale.

Then we saw two twenty-somethings
Going for a dip.
With temps down in the 40's
That is something I could skip.

My husband asked them if this was
A part of their routines
And how they did it in the cold -
They answered, "Viking genes."

We're here in Copenhagen
So perhaps their claim is true
But being from New York I think
They must have lost a screw!...
