DIED TO SOON
when you died, I felt dead
all I saw was red
it happened like a dream
when I sleep I hear you scream
when you died I felt dead
The flowers died on Monday,
The ones that lay next to her bed
They pulled the plug on Monday,
The roses shrivelled up and dead.
Fell in a bowl of soup
my head hangs
wet and soggy
spoon on the floor
The coroner removes my head
and stares
at the microwave......
Died in its bottle
Took in all that it could
For weeks
Months maybe
Drooping and dark
Once bright and beautiful
Returned to its roots
Form:
So many nights we laughed and cried
So many nights I thought I'd die
Now you're the one who laughs and I Cry
Cuz you're the one who died
He died for me
So I might live.
He took my place,
His life to give.
O, what a price
He paid for me!
There on the cross
Of Calvary…
He died old
looking for poetry
in everything
and anything
Finding it there
for a time
But after time
finding it
only in nothing
and in the end
When she left
I cried
But she came back to say goodbye one last time
Before packing the rest of her things
The day she left
Is the day love died
it was for reason
it came in many season
some tried to run
tho they had a gun
it was fighting
wasn't delighting
was bad stuff
SO MANY DIED FOR US
it was tough task
being jump and gas
this in the pass
don't forget
some of us did this
so other lives would shine
so
many
LIVES DIED FOR THIS TIME
If music be the food of love,no hell below us,no heaven above..This was the day the music died,musical hero’s we lost but never got the chance to say goodbye
When the plane went down
Killing Buddy Holly ending his renown
Left us in a stupor
Never knew his future
A pioneer wearing a rock 'n roll crown
Bacon and peanut butter loaves
He loved meat tender
He got fatter, sad and alone
He got out of bed
Scratching his head
Then promptly died on the throne
The King is dead.
Lord I've opened my
eyes finally realized
I'm not on earth now
I'm in your presence
absent from my body now
presence with My God

I died the day we said goodbye
can't shut the sun by shutting the eyes
will love you past the end of times

She was a pariah
In her own family
Two angry parents
Said “I wish you had died”
She was two
But she got the message
They were angry
Because her surgery cost them money
He grabbed the gun
Pointed it at me
I put up my hands and sighed,
"Go ahead, kill me!"
A tear went down his cheek,
I smiled in relief.
Maybe this life was not meant for
me.
Died Being A Miner
Ate great chowder in crowded diner;
Then we had sailed on a lovely liner;
Life would end;
To heaven send;
He did die digging coal being a miner.

Died and In Heaven Above
So sad you no longer are my love,
And did fly off like a diligent dove;
No longer here,
My precious dear;
Have died and are in heaven above.

they open that door
so now go
don't poke
get out and vote
this is no joke
the fight goes on
we're belong
this is the season
some had too for me and you
BLACKS
DIED FOR A REASON
Once again
Love has died
So did I
No one cares
About me
No one cries
No one there
By my side
No comfort
Simple tears
Tears of pain
My last ones
Touched by death
Closed my eyes
Say goodbye
My grandfather had died years ago
I thought he’d live forever, but alas no
I had to learn quickly how to let go
It’s the hardest thing you’ll ever know
Russell Sivey
If I died
Would you keep my memory
Alive
Or would you slip
Into that wide abyss
I must have love
To curtail the greed
And the license
That won’t stay
In your arms
I feel free
Finally
Relied On Until Died
On certain people we always relied;
With right answers were well supplied;
Complied with us;
Never raised fuss;
Honest and loyal up until day they died.
