               So
        fashioned with
         intrepidation;
I’m a strawberry time bomb;
            Wound
               up;
Unstable means go harder;
    Gunpowder in hand
           detonate
             doors....

Premium Member Can't Deal
it’s not often
he let the stress
get to him
anger swell
within
invasive
infectious
festering
no end in sight
his mind
detonate explode
scatter
it’s not often
but today was different
just can’t deal
he let it get to him

Lust
I feel the passion smoldering my vision.

I'm enraptured by your earthly eyes,

and your delicate, bare skin against mine

is the ultimate nirvana. It's an addiction.

My skin crawls where you have touched;

My neurons detonate, triggered by your voice,

I'm infatuated with the high of desire....

love
i wonder what you're doing right now
i curse myself so profoundly
you have exceedingly stole my heart,
my brain feels like its going to detonate
and my soul will ignite

an ordinary world is no match for you
but i am a utter fool forever for not speaking up --
and now i think about those words i might've ate...

Slime balls By: Tom Wright 7/26/2006 Terrorism, Makes life, mere breath on a string, If radical's viewed life as more, They would not detonate themselves To decimate the innocent; While the echoes of each eruption May signify days shortened, Allah was not life’s giver, Nor does he clip the string!

The Runner
He allows himself to hover
over his own flying weight.
He recalls the ease
of running effortlessly…the dopamine highs.

His toes are earth-pushing landmines,
his elastic ankles are circa 1980’s,
they detonate and thrust vibrant tendons.

Tonight restless legs push him across
a damp mattress -
and he still running after
a running dream....

Premium Member Stirrings
in whimsy
perfumes dance
calling out
for spring

uplifted souls
join forces
to wake nature
up to its feet

stars do align
the sun the wind
their might
spin this earth
till warm and
full of life

bells ring
it’s time
for spring
to detonate
to sing
put on its
annual parade

Premium Member Love Potion
Who hasn’t heard of the notion
The secret recipe for love potion
Can detonate a frenzied explosion
While stirring carnal emotion
Wild winds setting in motion
The sails ablaze on blue ocean
Stars above burn in devotion
Igniting the spark of implosion
Catapulting a heart in commotion

A Pity
You’ve seen it before
Never spoke of
The hapless Individual
Helpless in principle
Mercy, out of sale
Withered broke frail
Teenage angst
Hand me down hate
Weaken by the irate
A sitting bomb
Counts and waits
One last push
To the point to agitate
And detonate
An unjust fate
Could have saved
Should have stayed
Didn’t manage a role
Hunting pack cruel
Achieved enlightenment
Silent excitement...

Premium Member Binge
His boredom conquered discipline again; a bridge thus built has no one else to blame. A blazing dumpster fire bloomed from within, like breathing, birth unnoticed when it came. Audacious that a button made of cork might detonate and on his soul impinge. Believe not blood, instead apply the torque, and so begins another drinking binge.

Sore Shoulders
Sore shoulders
Rough nightmares
In my sacred pillow
An unexpected message
From the past
Under a new name
I feel the hair on my neck tingle
I'm being watched
An autumn has passed
So much has been done
So much cannot be undone
I wake in fear
Exhale in relief
The weight has
Already been lifted
My hands aren't tied
To a detonating bomb
I rub my wrists
Free
But weirdly uncomfortable
To not have the
Handcuffs of lead
on my wrists anymore...

Beetle Buds
Slumbering woods bloom
under beetle plowed pulp.
Up above,
the canopy is bare,
and sheds only white zero’s.

Beetles hum beneath the rot,
detonate inaudible chitinous chimes,
troglodyte tones
under a dormant mulch.

Everywhere,
ambiguity buds open and close
in a subterranean flurry.

When the ice breaks its quash and quell,
they surface
round and gleaming
to chase new laid morsels down;
their feeding
turning earth for the seeding sun....

Wretched Snake
The head
Of the snake
Is gone
Though it seems

It's coming
Back to me
In terrible
Dreams

Will there
Be a party
A dynamite
Type?

But detonate
Fears
And more then
Just hype

A jet of vacation
An unaware crew
To fall from the sky
But they never knew

And where
Will it end
The snake
Does it mend?

If growing
The head back
Will time tell
Us when?

The body
Must go
As well as
The head

And finally
Then
This wretched
Will end...

Corn Syrup, Coffee, and Bread
Are we that addicted, compliance with corporate shuffle
Moves consensus across the board
Graveyard pageant on radio muffle

A persistent petulant stuffing with chips to dine
Casino house burning like Babylon
As the Towers detonate again and again

The past frozen inside the future
It just turned over like flesh across the bed
From nightmares of padded walls and prison escape

Turn the dial, switch the nob
The station generates our relative earthquake
Cinders from numb evolution...

A Dog Runs By His Side
He should let himself hover
over his own flying weight.
He recalls the ease
of running effortlessly….the dopamine highs.

His toes are landmines,
his ankles are circa 1980’s,
they detonate snapping tendons,
hold the dream together.

Restless legs push him across
a damp mattress
to where a running dog
wades across a last river.

Halfway over
the dog looks back
suddenly alert to the flailing man –
he has fallen into an eddy of time.

The dog sits down to wait
30 years....
