Nothing marks the day he left this world
no pomp, no glory, no flags unfurled
no marching parade to fill the streets

I might have died with my eyes open wide.
Please ! close them so my misery could hide.
Give me a bath in rose water.
Make my grave stone telling mister.
Dress me all up in black.
