artless darts pierce heartless hearts
garrulous gnats deafen rancorous rats
rabid foxes beget brainless rocks
we are all dead
when it all ends
there are too many dead ends
I'll deafen my ears before everyone else disappears,
So I can have the most quietest peace of mind that hears their ghosts.

Rainbows bright light up the foam
Glistening drops sparkle in the sunlight
The thunder of the rolling waters deafen
As we stand enthralled, gasping with wonder
Oh, how can we deny !
when the poor translations of HIS language deafen us,

Dark clouds spins around
Ice boulders, trees bent to pray
Tornadoes deafen
A scrap of house strewn
The silence sleeps near a child
The storms aftermath
A tiger growling
In the circus' rope draped sky
Bad weather today
I'll deafen my ears,
As the music slowly disappears.
I'll drift into another reality,
As the music increases my own spirituality.
I'll die as I destroy these illusions of life,
As the music melts away all of my inner strife.

Holding my temper, I cry
Holding my eyes, I censor
Holding my tongue, I’m muted
Holding my ears, I deafen
Holding my hunger, I starve
Holding my thirst, I dry up
Holding my love, I push back
Holding my zakat, I give
Holding everything Holy;
Holding and shunning evil.
He’s alone.
The streets, alleys and parks are full of people
who can’t see him. He tries to shout for attention,
only for the people to pass through him.
His body light,
he feels like a ghost watching other people
carry their burden,
that blind and deafen them from his true self.

But it cannot touch our conscience

Take not your sight and blind it
Deafen not the ear and hear it
Touch not the hot but the warm
Taste not the sour but the sweet
Smell not the bitter of fragrance
Use the sense that God gave you
Correct the wrong and make it right

Win, with God holding your hand.
You cripple me,
I fall into you hard,
Abandoning motion.
You deafen me,
I fall into the sounds of you,
Neglecting to hear those of the world.
You mute me,
I fall into the allure of your words,
Disregarding my own.
You blind me,
I fall into the beauty that surrounds you,
Forgetting to see anything else.
You render me useless,
I fall out of myself completely,
Forming an extension of you.
You leave me,
I fall into the empty void,
Always allowing space for you.

Keeping flippant thoughts in check
Convolutions make a schizophrenic toss
blind paranoia into the catatonic tomb
yelling whispers caught in mind cacophony
Rest the head in a drugged-out succor!
Deafen the sententious words – dead -
Nuke the firing adversary neuron!
No aesthetic can anesthetize the thinking demon
expounding beyond the bliss of ignorance
Stewards imagined become abominable ghouls!
Tangles exorbitant unravel contemplation’s nest…

With blank deep eyes
Staring the dark infinity
No words uttered,
Like a rock struck in the reef.
Your scream hidden beneath
Is enough to deafen thousand ears.
I know you are waiting for them
Will the next tide bring them back to you?
Tell me young man
Have all your dreams and hopes been carried away?
With the dark black huge tides
To the Ocean you once adored.
( this is what I witnessed when the Tsunami attacked our country. The young man remained insane afterwards. He is still living)
