Dark Black Tides

With blank deep eyes Staring the dark infinity No words uttered, Like a rock struck in the reef. Your scream hidden beneath Is enough to deafen thousand ears. I know you are waiting for them Will the next tide bring them back to you? Tell me young man Have all your dreams and hopes been carried away? With the dark black huge tides To the Ocean you once adored. ( this is what I witnessed when the Tsunami attacked our country. The young man remained insane afterwards. He is still living)

It sounds like a living death. I can taste the sadness on my tongue as your words wash over me. I am honored to be the first to comment on your poem.
