dreamscape silhouettes
vermillion light shadows
light your pathway
all physical you left behind.
Is There Such A Place
To whence goes the day
When day is done...and where does
tomorrow come from?

Connie's penned poetry presents colorful prose, captivated curiosity, parading carefreely pass cemented paths ceremoniously.
Curiosity wings with open eyes,
Where truth whispers with shadowed secrets,
Somewhere glistening words reply,
Dreams fall within.
Of knowledge
Love lives in
Positive curiosity

The curiosity of knowing
What he is doing
to How he is doing

MY TOM CAT TOM
My Tom Cat Tom
Now sings the 33rd Psalm
For although curiosity kills the cat
T’was the Fed-Ex truck that squished Tom flat
tiny tots gather round a slug
fascinating little bug …
big folks smirk and shrug
curiosity swept under the rug
These anonymous ‘debs’, Mr. Pettit;
My curiosity indeed has been whetted.
If I number among
This talented throng,
For your admiration, I’m indebted.
I am delicate.
Beauty lingers wherever i am,
curiosity is dangerous,
And my fragrance overwhelms.
I am a symbol of love.
I am a rose
You scream forth into life
Full of wonder and curiosity
Demanding
At times a ball of frustration
Others a fit of giggles
But always a world of wonders
Curiosity won't kill you; that's just an old saying.
Admiring eyes observe you exploring and playing.
Time for supper and cuddling, with no further delaying.
Twigs and branches crunched,
Revealing a wholesome face,
Curiosity
Generated a fine glimpse,
Of Mother Nature’s kind charm.

A question is a simple thing
Nothing more than a question
An inquisitive curiosity
Reciting an inkling of care
However
Friends ask questions
Enemies question you
Curiosity --
curled labyrinth of mankind's
greed or salvation?

Winner: Third Place
May we be blessed
every hour of every day
every day of every month
and every moth of every year
to choose compassion over judgement
and curiosity over fear.
Once tasted…never quenched
Thirst, hunger, curiosity and scent
Some born of need
Some born of greed
But all once savored
…are never quenched…

Pandora,a lass with 'all gifts'
Let curiosity take her a step toofar,
When mankind's evil flew from her jar-
Only hope,inside,was to remain
Released,it's relief,to ease pain.
Tombstone enscriptions
Mindless descriptions
Conformity asked
Corruption masked
My Curiosity Tamed
Independance shamed
Always the same problems
No ways to solves solve them
