Political Corruption

Partisanship hinders compromise
Oblivious voters put cronies into power
Likeability trumps substance
Idiotic commentators bicker
Tension builds amongst the people
Idealouges pollute the system
Charming individuals manipulate
Society falls apart

Leaders That Bleed Us

Each is but a sales tout,
but sadly some have clout.
And they ne'er go without.
With buzz words they do shout
then drivel do they spout.
We all know without doubt
their cronies haul 'em out
when their own rules they flout.
Each is but a sales tout.

Skeptical Society Statement For Sure

Society is not only ignorant. It is generally cowardly. Society and it's foolish cronies generally preach justice, freedom, and equality and yet too often practice injustice, promote slavery, and stubbornly too often insist on inequality.Welcome to hell, but I would prefer heaven, thank you.

Overcome

Fight me,
I propose a challenge,
A duel of sorts,
I will triumph,
Fair warning,
I will scale that mountain,
Leaving you and your cronies,
In the tundra.

I will force your fall,
I will battle your brains and your brawn,
And succeed.

I will wash your bleeding core,
When I defeat you.

Nation

National flag fluttered,
on the day of national honor,
leader beamed so did his cronies,
all other 'vegetable' that had gathered around,
had little spirit and sound,
whatever they made,
they made out of compulsion,
of one or the other kind,
strange nation appeared elated,
while nationals quite and thoroughly deflated.

My Daughter

My daughter had an abortion
She was hooked to alcohol
She slept with savages
She took drugs with cronies
She was sad and morose
She did not care anybody
She left school at 16
Went to reformation home at 18
Released at 19
And got pregnant at 20
She aborted a fetus of 25gms

This story may be noted my lord
She died at 21.

Sweet and Sour Pickles

There was a time when pleasure came on the tip of a tongue. When fear fled and the senses did indulge. Though visions dim and sound distorts, dismays… the tang of sweet and sour stay abides within the aged form in figureless grace. Released are we aged crones and cronies no longer the baited traps, the pollen for the laden prongs of progeny.

Feral instinct

Blatant display
of weaponry
on Republic day,
perhaps tradition,
invoking pride
and patriotism
but somehow I feel,
such muscle flexing,
crass and vulgar,
is best avoided
by all regimes
who so flaunt
aggressive intent
but there’s a vote bank,
that looks forward
to fanning fires
and so the monarch
goes with the script
which is proven
to keep him
and his cronies
in power.

Optimistic Frog

She will probably love me said optimistic frog.
I’m as loveable as a Japanese puppy dog.
He was laughed at by his cronies in Willow bog.
His fly eating is disgusting, like watching a hog.

But as you now know, his name was optimistic frog.
His fancy ways proved he was not a disgusting dog.
He took his faerie queen on a picnic at Willow bog.
They got betrothed after she tasted his lovely cinnamon egg nog.

Dull But Wonderfull

She may seem unearthly,
sometimes lonely and gloomy;
facing others' disloyalty,
but she never wanted revenge.
No! not for her cronies,
she always forgave
but no one deserved.
She might be shy,
but yet she conceals mighty personality.
She may be beautiful,
but unequivalent to her distinctive individuality.
She may look youthful,
but in fact she's grown.
In people's sight
she might be dull,
but to me,
she's just wonderful

Its Cronyism to the Fore

Listen to poem:
Come gather round folks, one and all,
Ignore the pall of fake-ball call and gall.
Let's play a round of golf with friends,
Where favors flow and logic truly ends.
All listed experience and resumes we'll scoff at those,
We need buddies, cronies whose friendship shows.
'Fore!' is the call, as ball goes out of bounds,
'No worries!' just kick it back, into the grounds.
We make up the rules, so surely that's fair?
You're hired, my pal, justly pull up a chair!
