A Lunar Hymn in Glitter Ink

Don't think they will stop this creative writing spree.
But they are free to keep the sunshine for themselves;
I’d rather continue being best friends with the moon.

Creative Writing

at the corner are walking
 people?
 that
 has nothing to do
 with the creative writing
 with your manner
 to transfer (slowly)
the cigarettes into a cigarette case
 to understand
 I’m one of the others?
 yes
 like a white mountain is
 the woman by me
 who
 is falling asleep

The Enigmatic Little Book With No Name

The Content:

This volume, holds in your fantasy
undeciphered tales, parables, aphorisms, and letters.

 The Back Cover is:

"The full intentions and final design destined to remain mysterious".

It was one of three on that top shelf in the den,
and there remain forever.

Poets Inn

(Creative Writing School)

Whoever enters this door
and sits on this floor
Has gained mental health,
sought-after wealth.

Who peruses into another
  from cover to cover
True inner self is the other
  he will then discover.

For, those who gain all,
First, enrich th' top ball!

Premium Member Oh Tweedle Dee Tweedle Dum

erratic affairs muddle mindsets
confront life with unlike aspects
can’t let the wiseacre tell a lie
I cried the day the music died
fractals repeat their eternal patterns
like fairy tales forever and after
chanciness of life unravels
alter egos by-gone in travels
early on pace your time deftly
and scrawl your own bio wisely

Premium Member Black Ink

Black Ink
 Always a deep thinker.
 Old fashioned typewriter.
 Black ink on paper.
 Stay inspired.
 Through creative writing.
 Read in between the lines.
 The love of poetry.
 You can write freely.
With a pen, this is your journey.
Looking Outside the window, glistening city lights.
 Alone I may be.
 Writing with black ink always.

Penguin Lady

This sad old devil seems tragically nasty and cruel
Her creative writing is just not very helpful or cool
She needs to take her goofy old self back to school
Her fate is now a loose thread on a withering spool.

Note: dedicated to the late Dr. Jason Arday. I didn't like how that one lady talked about him and I'm glad people called it out.

Premium Member Creative Writing Is Like a Bolt of Lightning

Creative writing is such fun
Just picture something, it could be a scary gun
Let your imagination conjure up a scene
It may be violent or serene
Jot your thoughts down wherever you may be
That’s the secret to remember what your imagination can see
It could be instantaneous or you may want to place it in a file
But putting it together makes it all worthwhile!

My Way

I have lived a life that is full;
I've loved,
I've laughed,
I've learned,
I've danced,
I've grown......

A life like no one else's I've created for myself;
my own dressing style,
my own creative writing,
my own amazing family,
my own identity signature....

As I take my last breath, I'll say I did it my way.....

(The Poem is themed by the song "My way" by Frank Sinatra)

Premium Member An Office For Lease

I am sitting in front of an empty building.
Large red, white and blue sign says “for lease”.
What would I do here?
Creative writing center?
Art center?
Botanical garden?
Toy museum?
Clutter our Way or the Highway?
Birdbrains Anonymous?
Crones United?
Hag’s Homemade Brews?
Psychedelic Phenomenon?
Krutsinger’s Believe it or Rot?
Voodoo Dolls and Vampires?
The ideas are endless.
I dial the number, to find out what the rent is.

Creative Writing

Time to write
Time to exercise your hand
Be sure to ready your paper and pen
Or, check your p/c battery
Before you begin the word journey
And make sure no one is around, disturbing your mind
Tis not about rhyming, nor about the form
Just write
What you feel is right
For you, to make others laugh
Or touch their heart
Above all, be yourself
The originality lies inside you
And, the rest will smoothly flow
Try it, and hope you enjoy the fun

Premium Member Thoughts Running Free 1

looking through mind’s eye
as if in a trance
perhaps due to circumstance
or perchance the last dance

then again on the fly
without condescending
blending all elements in sight
I start to cry

wolf wolf the fear has arrived
disguised but still here
feel the fear

blowing in the winds of fate unknowing
death seeks to end the lie
just die bye bye die

then come again with reason
in another season
to veer out of last dance trance
to fly again in the universal wind
