Evolve
When a tree contorts itself toward the sun; this is true love, and desire....

Voldo the Demon Dancer
the contortionist
thats what he is by trade
he cannot speak...he hisses
his curse you could say.

he is silent as night
twice as deadly too
he contorts around his blades
and he never has a single wound...

Mental Exaustion
Everything in my head seems to pile
No way to be still for a while
This migrane of fatigue
How it leaves me unintrigued
My senses it morphs
My mind it contorts
No end to restless tears
Deep sleep never nears...

Flee
perplexed.
with such conviction,
mania fixed, fabricated dialect
of a place
nonexistent. choke,
breathe, introduction- as faults
stick, seethe.
glee, combustion contorts,
distorts, creates revolution.
flee....

The Shadows
the shadows

these rooms echo loudly
then suck the air
from me

you stand there in my wonder
wander within
without sound

and I fall to my knees

the mirror mocks me
with my own stupidity
laughing sadly
sadly

holding on contorts
and stretches

...disbelief...

Heartbreak
No words, hurt, pain, can’t breathe
The ache is indescribable
Face contorts with endless tears, a relentless flow
My body is numb, mind a blank
Disbelief at the horrible truth
For better or worse
Some things are unforgivable
Broken trust can’t be mended
The garden is full of weeds
Time to tend the soil and start again....

More Than 50 But Whos Counting
Where the black berates the whites
and barricades are crossed
that colour without
when rain gathers for release
like a slightly grubby fleece
that squelchy grey that matters
the outsider that pines for other hues
the memory it confused
Shadow contorts its form
intense in its opinion
bland has joined the band
The future aint bright
its lazing in the shades...

Diabla Amarilla
what is
this thing

close up
very shapely

but taken in
from a distance

sheer terror contorts
my face like Munch's

Scream and i do
scream now seeing

understanding contrast
of color her skin darkening

knowing now the meaning
of the bikini as she faces me

from afar i see her top as if
horns and her bottom a smile

thinking Lovecraft could not
even imagine the demon before me...

COPLA 72 INVOCATION: This Bad Guy World

Bad Guys know they have a good time
In these multi-verses out of sight:
Who the hell cares

Is the exit door the end of time
None to answer knock locked right tight:
Served sentence dares

Talk of string vibrations in thoughts
And the mite’s view of dimensions:
Whose idea this

That the most intricate contorts
The Will to unravel tensions:
Exit in bliss

Premium Member The Fix Is In
I'll race you to the corner
   Watch me do a wheelie
Want some ABC gum*
   Mary is a fraidy-cat...

As we age, inevitably badly
   and enter our final phases
The cruel lash of time
   contorts these treasured phrases

I'll race you to the coroner
   Watch me in my wheelchair
Want some more oxycontin
   Mary is a vegetable...

Hate to be so grim
but when the fix is in
All we've left is words to say
   'til dementia takes those away

*ABC = already been chewed...
