The Shadows

the shadows

these rooms echo loudly
then suck the air
from me

you stand there in my wonder
wander within
without sound

and I fall to my knees

the mirror mocks me
with my own stupidity
laughing sadly
sadly

holding on contorts
and stretches

...disbelief
