why my eyes gritty
red-rimmed and not pretty

why my lids slammed shut
what this sticky oozy stuff
conjoin whatitis

a sanguine sun sinks - as night's ebony curtain of darkness descends
shadows coalesce - shapeless silhouettes conjoin - color atrophies

Tears of sorrow,
tears of joy
Conjoin together,
laughter’s toy
Tears of sadness,
tears of mirth
Their wellspring one,
—a dual birth

conjoins mind- rips thought process from my soul as it relegates my life
my choice what I choose-scripted molecules embrace–misguided persons

Split sensation, condescending muzzle- quieting my inhibition. Steel drum, wooden
stick- conjoin, raising heaven and hell, tearing apart the mists that conceal the truth.
Perfection, insanity rearing its beautiful head- setting me free

Blank verse
An un-lonely loneliness
separates the breezes
as they search for each other.
The kayak paddle stirs
a fading wake
consumed.
A silence forms
as egrets, fawns
and idleness
conjoin.

They traced the boundaries
And split the minds
A savage then bellowed
Come hold my hand
Loyalties maimed
Even the gods' they cried
Grace just scattered
For the tears to dry
Will these contours
Just blur and conjoin
When hearts doth speak
Shatter thoughts so weak --

I get along with
my father now,
better than when he was alive
The walls have dismantled,
the barriers down,
a clear vision to inside
The excuses we made,
a pride that forbade,
here buried in the ground
As our spirits conjoin
to sail on the wind
—each other we have found

Despair shrugs off its dirty shell
emerging as Enlightenment,
cramped and crumpled she crawls
off in dazed bewilderment,
as remnants of vile guilt and rage
plot her demise, (shameless vestige!)
and residues of spiteful hate
conspire to take her hostage.
Sitting in her brand new skin
alone Enlightenment is like to die,
till Love, Confidence and Joy conjoin
to bolster her into a Butterfly!

As he slowly fades,
his eyes grow heavy until they are shut.
Dying, perishing slowly in his little hut,
his wife pulls down the shades.
Never again is he going to see the light of day.
As she weeps her trouble good-bye,
she cleans well.
So well in fact she slipped and fell.
As she stares into the night,
she has found the golden light.
Even though it's the end for her and her love,
In front of the pearly gates of heaven they conjoin as one dove.

I do not know?
we forged our names in willted stone
felt like a king without his throne
filtered dreams of love abide, strong earthly woman by my side
coins of gold shimmer brite
silver goblets reflect our might
tempered streams of wine and song
loving you im never wrong
sunless day's and winters night
heart felt dreams with visual sight
willted stone i feel your grace, the sun, the moon, conjoin in space tender hearts that once were one
lifes last grace from father to son.

Winter blues they said to me
What can this do for I am free?
We shall conjoin most joyously
Rejoice the day more carelessly.
Blissfully along the way
Life is filled with festive days
Nothing blue can come today
Unfair winter blues come what may.
Winter blues seen through my eyes
As a sheath of white herein lies
This silent bed that cries
Winter blues is my disguise.
Winter blues can only bring
An orb of white with a ring
Winter blues is a lovely thing
Creates a life worth remembering.
