Flooding In Brazil

the rain in Brazil started
for the whole month of January
conflicting beauty of the waters...
Flooding life until February

MY

My face, a wrinkle deep,
My past, a messy choice,
My present, conflicting options,
Yet, I'm full of desire for a beauty queen.

Loathe me long, shred my soul, burn my heart in hate. I’ll dote you till I’m gone. In void feel my love.

Conflicting

People walk at random
                        Life follows its course.
A dog tries to bite its tail.
                        And life is always strife

Storm of Love

In the storm of love
     conflicting emotions rage.
             Soft sensual touch.

My body resists.
     No sanctuary in you.
             Spouse of another.

Broken Love

Beautiful, but not perfect
Wonderful, yet hurting too
Loving, but with regret
Amazing, yet painful too

Conflicting feelings
Send me reeling
Love that’s sealing
But still stealing

After Flynn Was Fired

After Flynn Was Fired

After Flynn Was Fired he suffered much wrath,
And would end up going down the wrong path;
Each condition,
Much suspicion;
Containing conflicting ideas and backup math.

Sometimes I'm full of hope and optimism.
Other times I feel hopelessness and pessimism.
It can drive one crazy having such feelings conflicting.
If true balance can be attained, I pray for its fruition
without the use of pharmaceutical medication.

Conflicting

Black but raised in an orphanage with Philippino owners. Black but adopted by a white family. Athletic enough to make it onto a D1 team but not enough to be able to compete on it. Smart to have a 4.0 but not enough to make a good score on the LSAT. Christian but with Democratic values.

A Conflict

Deep darkness fears me at night,
Sable thoughts surround me tight,
Run I to the dark corners to escape,
Wrestle against inner self and fight,
The conflicting struggle continues,
Till I exhaust and lose the might,
The next day recovers me again,
And the night brings the same plight.

Truth to Power Historically

Truth to Power…Historically

                         leaders
                 gifted, circumspect
           guiding, serving, protecting
goals, negotiations, regulations, movements
       conflicting, undermining, upsetting
                  pompous, devious
                         usurpers

Juxtapose two conflicting minds.
Against one another they tassel.
Never to complete their argument,
Nick is stuck as mediator.
And it is not a fun job.

Proposition after proposition,
All movements are mirrored.
Rather than agree, they fight.
Kind Nick is torn apart.
Everyday he worries about the outcome.

Soar Upward Against the Wind

A butterfly with wings frail
Rises heavenward against the wind
Witnessing life’s conflicting direction
Floating constantly upward
What chrysalis owned you?
How solitary is your world?
Alone each day
A silent, windless end
Fly, butterfly, fly!
Why accept this knowing
You can soar out of the rain
Into the sunny world
Of Love

Hanging to his dwindling sanity
he haphazardly weaves a net
of confused and conflicting emotions.
Weakened by pangs of futility
the strained fine thread snaps...

Lies

10/06/2018

Formed from duplicity and hypocrisy;
A falsehood foundation for democracy.

Cognitive dissonance spurred into minds;
Attitudes, beliefs, and behavior blinds.

Exposed conflicting ideas and emotions;
While fabricating illogical devotions.

Psychiatry claim to prevent, but obstruct;
As an inhuman money making construct.

The Human Antonym

The human antonym

Buddhist, but maleficent
Losing,but triumphant
Home, but astray
Articulate, but nothing to say

Achieving,but no ambition
Trusting, but full of suspicion
Cold hearted, but devoted
Political, but never voted

Lazy, but overworked
Level headed, but berserk
Lacks talent, but a numen
All of the above- a human

The Way Things Are

Pain is the way my heart pounds.
Love is the sound of your voice.
Pain is the way my breath catches.
Love is the touch of your skin.
Pain is the way I feel when you leave me.
Love is the joy I feel when you return.
How can a person feel such two conflicting emotions?
I can't explain it, and I'm not sure I want to.
But you know the way things are.

Pain

Conflicting thoughts in my head,
None escape; left unsaid.
It rips through my organs,
Like tree roots under tarmac,
It's anchored down deep,
forcing cracks on the surface.

Those opportunistic storms,
Further weaken defences,
Cracks widen, highways crumble,
From the core, I implode.
Conflicting thoughts in my head
and more tears still to shed.

At The Mall

Darn dogs bark, disturbing my thought
Two canucks in a truck never give up,
With a wide turning radius they hobble the curb,
Parking in stalls, for small cars,
One stops next to you, to block the view,
The senior’s scooter pushes through
The traffic, at the shopping mall
All with conflicting purposes
Trying to buy food ~psp
