A Parrot
a parrot
chattering nonsense
vibrant joker
a Minah bird
incessantly mocks
feathers fly
owl hoots
from my oak tree
Minerva’s child
hummingbird
hovers by my window
faerie rides
a flying
chevron reverberates
geese
faerie sits
in woodland contemplation
nature communes
a raven lands
on my door head

Faerie Communes With Empathetic Mushroom
Delicate faerie perched on edge of sweet spotted mushroom.
She knew not to sit with her full body weight.
Mushroom’s conscious felt a second of doom.
Not understanding that she was empathetic and great.

With Peace In Dark Times
Harvest moon casts silhouette
woman communes with heaven
alone on the starkest path
she feels his presence
Decades passed since his demise
but still she feels one with him
knowing his soul awaits her

Brightness from his loving heart
illuminates her journey
she can surmount challenges
with peace in dark times

He tells her
that her dreams are reserved for heaven.
Her years age bitter
as she communes with fermented spirits
in her cellar
without time left
to wait for change.
Only her ashes will soar now
and she prays
that they will sprout
liberty wings....

I do not know?
Snatch From the Jaws of Death
In fear my life is shaped,
To tremble when to stand
‘Cause the dark my mind communes
Knowing bread and wine of lies
Season’s lost in the dark track,
Journeying in a constant pit,
Bounded by the laws of lust
And pinned by fear and foolery
Just as the dark will consume-
Me, light consummated me.
For the strange end that is seen,
My heart shrinks and weeps for joy.
Beautiful is the light’s path,
Transparent and sound in court
What a heart of tarred lanes gained
Knowing peace like none ever...
