Cluttering the blue -
A thick white line of a cloud.
The jet races away.

Choke
I SHUDDER IN THIS LIGHT
I RECOIL AWAY
INTO MYSELF
COVERING MY EYES
SCREECHING
PULLING AWAY
SKIN SHIVERING
INSIDE
THE TASTE OF THIS
IS BITTER
I CROUCH AND CRINGE
IT'S CLUTTERING ME UP INSIDE....

Tonight
TONIGHT
MIDNIGHT CALLS
FINDS ME ALONE
IN THE DARK CORNER
OF MY RAMBLING MIND
WAVES ROLL OVER ME
THE ECHO OF SILENCE
IT SHATTERS
IT IS BEYOND ME
BUT ALSO INSIDE
CLUTTERING MY SOUL
WITH EXCESS
A BLACK HOLE....

Downward Spin
upbeat thoughts
dancing in my head
have given way
to clouds menacing
cluttering my brain
wish I could believe
a few sunrays
could melt away the ice
built up 'round my heart
never again sliding down
the old unfathomable abyss

Pendulums
The pained pendulum pushes through the fog
With the ever-crashing splash of rheumatic guilt
Licking at the swinging bronze from below.
We lose God again and again
In the cluttering of thoughts
Like the burnt wings of butterflies
Over-used, over-driven, and
Over-flapped and now here
Festooned to a wheelchair he sits
Staved and dying from stale love.
And needing my help....

Tree of Wisdom 3
what do you mean ?
your conduits are blocked
by accumulation greed and
insecurity
what is accumulation ?
accumulation is cluttering
of unwanted thoughts
in the attic of your soul
the desire to possess
to defeat the fear
we are living in a flux
i do not fear to love you
i am ascending in the dark
corridors hidden crevices
of your embalming
love

I do not know?
Her Erasable Brain
Her erasable brain has never let her down.
After information is used, it no longer hangs around.
She memorizes all kinds of junk for a weird math test.
Not keeping one ounce of this knowledge ahead of the rest.
Details she cares barely two whits and a neck about,
Rarely comes prancing forward, forth or back out.
She never knows if she will use these equations again.
Not cluttering her brain is her ultimate end....

Complications Aside
It started out of curiosity
this friendship became a priority
through months of nurturing
many days of cluttering
complications aside
we are still side by side
making lightweight of every obstacle
in our aim to grow nothing is oracle
no one believed it would work
little did they know that God's hands were at work
plugging and tugging
molding and forming
complications aside
He is still on our side......

After the Storm
After the storm
The havoc is over and the sun is back
Patching up with light the heart's crack
Devastating is the scene of the aftermath
But there is a flower in the cluttering path
Though the storm was fierce and utterly cruel
The vanishing Hope got up to refuel
Deafening silence is ruling the place
But rhythm is gaining its normal pace
After every storm you are given a choice
Whether to quit or start to rejoice...

Questioning
Trending the nude prints,
life had been dismissive,
plucking the gray hairs from brows.
Manipulating the dopamine
the body’s odour
wafted through the cluttering limbs.
Charcoal underlines the
need of a wounded dove.
What else one needs from grain and water.
The tears will sew the lids
one day. I don’t want
to *******he sea again.
The dogfish comes on the
shores for a rebuttal.
It had never led a dog’s life.

The Harmony of Nature
Drip, drip falls the rain
cluttering on the rock mountain
seeping through the plain
collecting in the fountain
And the breeze is fine
whistling through the pine
wiping the pine leaves a shine
whipping branches into line
And long are the shadows
giving shade to the sparrows
stretching over shallow fallows
patterning mellowing hollows
Does it really matter
Whether its weather
....or its finite climate
All is the beauty of God’s creation
The harmony of nature...

Noticing My Crystal Lead Star
A crystal lead star hangs from my window.
It is fantastically gorgeous, beautiful.
I had forgotten it was there until I looked up with a fresh eye.
Use your eyes. Look around your house.
If something makes you feel good, keep it.
Throw out the stuff that uplifts you in no way.
I admire this crystal lead star today.
This is probably the first time I have noticed
it since the day I hung it ten years ago due
to so many other things in this house,
cluttering her out of my memory....

Addiction
I shall never know how deeply felt her anguish
Too young to sever the roots of her own suffering
Unable to fathom how deeply in remorse she languished
The demons in her mind and soul clutching, cluttering,
Scrambling her ability to sort out the issues of life
In mid-life she departed, too early, too soon was gone
From interminable years of struggle with unabating strife
Somewhere in the spiritual realm of peace she trudges on.
