Notes About The Poem

Reality

Reality

I clambered up surrealism’s heights, clawing tooth and nail
(The path was obscured by variances cluttering the way),
But that didn’t hinder my progress into realism,
I was adventurous and irrepressible in my quest.

Star clusters within galaxies form imaginative figures
That cry out to the universe, “Welcome, stupidity!”
The world isn’t as dark once you step out of the picture
To escape abstraction and become a reality.
