Summertime scene
willow-tree waters
Blissful balm
clearwater calm
Turquoise translucent
stream so serene
Tiny ships set sail
'neath a magical moon

When buried bullets of rain are gone
I arouse unto a stunning raw dawn
Where wings of grief suddenly wane
and ebbs of pain no longer remain
for now I embrace this gift of grace
remaining here in this peaceful place

Creedence Clearwater Revival, a successful classic rock band
performed Bad Moon On The Rise through out my great land.
The chorus of the song sings, There's A Bad Moon On The Rise,
but I always thought that they were all singing, There's The Bathroom On The Right.
...I say this most embarrassingly.
I was informed of the correct verse just recently.
Canada has the Muskoka blues-
Canada has the Muskoka blues,
Yea Canada, what great news.
Clearwater lakes and loons-
Yea clearwater lakes and loons,
Fishing with spinners and spoons.
Fishing with spinners and spoons.
Sing that line again with spinners and spoons.
Misty morning lakes and loons,
Yea Canada, what great news.
Canada has the Muskoka blues.
Yea - Canada has the Muskoka blues.
When writing's a chore
or frankly a bore
and not just reader
but writer -- snore
When your Muse won't giggle
or your Motivation jiggle
Then it's time to ask why ~
off this hook, don't you wiggle
'Cos if your well has run dry
when you gaze at the sky
and neither moon nor stars
elicit a 'why?"
Then it's time for a break
Let the others eat cake
Recharge, refresh, renew, restore
Head for the nearest clearwater lake
Happy trails, friends!
I hope to return...
